Rebounding in this engine is ridiculous. Has anyone else notices that REB ratings have very little impact on how well a team reabounds now?

That game is just the latest example of a tea, managing to rebound well with absolutely NO big rebounders.
Yes I have.  My 99 REB post players constantly get outrebounded by less athletic bigs that they have at least a 10 REB point per man advantage on.  This is especially frustrating with offensive rebounding.

I can't even count the number of times this has happened this season, both to me (I start an 85 reb, 76 ath pf at sf) and to other teams I've seen. It's really, really frustrating. There's some things I like about the new engine, but it fails badly when it comes to rebounding.

2nd half defensive adjust logic (lack of)

http://www.whatifsports.com/hd/GameResults/BoxScore.aspx?gid=5878499

Opponent makes 1 3 pt attempt in the 1st half and we switch from -5 to -3. Yeah ...that makes sense.

73 fouls (including 45 in the 1st half), 105 FTA (42 in the 1st half by Carroll). Playing a +3 press, Edgewood's 3 PGs commit 14 fouls in 38 minutes.

In DIII Wooden, the top 9 and 20 of the top 25 in fewest fouls are zone teams, some of them not very good at all (see Principia as a good example). Pressing teams with top notch talent (like Edgewood and UW-Superior) are committing 25-30 fouls per game. This gap seems unreasonably large. Yes, pressing teams will commit more fouls, but this seems excessive.

More on rebounding. In the old engine all things equal the best reboundign defenses were 1) Man ; 2) Zone ; 3) Press

I am not seeing man having an edge over Zone or Press anymore. There are too many variables to pin it down but its a gut feel so far.

Seble, would it be possible to have a chat or a broad response to the issue raised in this thread?   There seem to be a number of repeated concerns, and as some of us move toward the next round of recruiting, it would be useful to understand what tweaks are or are not likely.  Thanks.

4 double dribbles in one game?

I have a soph. player who complained about court time.  He was getting 6 minutes and wanted 4 or 5 more a game.  Usually you make a good effort to increase the time and (2-3 minutes in this case) and you will remotivate the guy - at least in the past.  2 Weeks since his complaint and subsequent drop in WE (12 total games) his minutes have increased by 4 per game to 10 overall per game.  Yet there is no improvement with his WE or any follow up email from him acknowleging the time increase.  Something isn't triggering like it probably should with this player.

stamina is progressing at too slow of a rate. they should make the stamina increase based on minutes played.

I've been getting a lot of feedback regarding the engine and I've targeted a few areas that need some adjustments made. I just want to assure everyone that your feedback is not being dismissed or ignored.

What I would appreciate from you guys is for you to post boxscore links accompanied by a short description of a specific issue. I'm looking for only extreme results, and it's more helpful to look at particular player or player matchup results as opposed to team-level results if possible.

It also doesn't help me to post vague descriptions like "I should never lose to this team". So try to look at the results and determine what areas cause that outcome and point to those.

Also, please limit this thread to only the boxscore links and explanation. You can continue discussions in other threads.

Thank you.
Still haven't gotten a response.  Should I send in a ticket?
