Or for Phelan. . .
THe bottom thirty guards and the top 30 posts at:
D1:
35 - 49
62 - 42
d2:
11 - 36
50 - 36
d3:
17 - 46
41 - 22
For Knight:
25 - 46
60 - 43
11 - 36
50 - 37
25 - 40
43 - 22
THat doesn't show a "MAssive gap" - other than if you pick a guard at random, most of the time the guard WILL be quicker than the big.
"Bottom 30" and "top 30" is a pretty silly way of looking at things considering how the game cannot rank recruits worth anything. Furthermore, ranges are misleading, the "massive gap" comes not from a range, but from a median. Not to mention, as I've said over and over, SPD cannot be the only factor you're looking at when measuring this issue. You have to look at VIABLE players with that SPD. The issue is most of those higher range SPD guys have some other major flaw(lack of rebounding, ath, WE, etc), which makes them NOT viable. I'm not sure how else to explain it than I did earlier in the thread.
You still have not addressed the basic issue, that there aren't enough fast VIABLE big men relative to the fast guards and WHY HD chose to reduce spd in big men?
What is most aggravating:
You're really going to sit there and seriously say that having no viable big men with a spd faster than 30 in D-II is realistic and correct?
