How about WIS Olympics? You'd have to field a few competitors (4 or 5) for each of a few events (maybe 5 or 6).

it would work and would be fun.

I don't see why not: you take the average times of the Olympic mile dash of say 1948 and figure out each participants' time relative to that, then take that same overall average and compare it to the average time for the same event throughout Olympic history (modern, since we don't have good records of the ancient Greek games), and if you want a 1948 competitor to run against a 2012 competitor, do the same averaging for the 2012 times  and the relative position of that 2012 competitor relative to the pack and then normalize both years to the overall historical average and you will get a sense of what the probability outcomes are.

Very thin example: 1948 competitor Bob was 3 seconds better than the average for the 1948 mile run. The overall 1948 average was 5 seconds slower than the overall average since 1800 whatever when we started having Olympics. 2012 competitor Bill was 3 seconds slower than the 2012 overall average speed but 2012 was 5 seconds faster than the historical average. So 2012's average is 10 seconds faster than that of 1948 and Bob is 2 seconds slower than the average historically which is 5 seconds slower than 2012's average but only 2 seconds slower than Bill. So Bill wins by 2 seconds as the most likely outcome. Or something like that.

SERIES 10 - WHATS GOOD TO WATCH ON TV

lots and lots...
a few reccomendations but just a few of many..

1. new show - HUMANS - on amc..amc knows how to produce good television....we aare now living during the beginning of robotics and we are definitely moving on a trajectory towards self aware AI..HUMANS is a show about " synths "...some of the sexiest androids since Austin powers..ive seen 2 episodes..great storyline..you are captivated by the synths secret consciousness and self awareness and emotions..set in England and William hurt is a star in the show...great show,

2. THE BLACKLIST - 3rd season soon...has been best show for last few years..the great james spader has elevated what would have been a very good show to a classic...he has chops...the phillip Seymour Hoffman of television.

3.WAYWARD PINES - twin peaks meets Pleasantville meets planet of the apes meets the time machine meets the prisoner....watch it while you can.

PEAKY BLINDERS

WISH THERE WERE MORE, MIGHT HAVE TO RE-WATCH DR. WHO, BREAKING BAD, AND THE SHIELD

Tyrant (FX) - fantastic show...the guy who plays Jamal (President of Abbudin) is awesome.

Vikings (History Channel) - my favorite show on the Boob Tube.  Keeps getting better every episode.

The Blacklist (NBC) - I agree with the above statement - James Spader makes this show must-see T.V.

Power (STARZ) - This show grabs you from the get-go and doesn't let go.  Lots of action and beautiful women - you can't beat it!

I can't wait for the new season of FARGO.  If it's half as good as Season One, it will be amazing.  It will be kind of hard to top Billy Bob Thornton's character though...

I think FX has just about become the best channel for T.V. shows on regular television (non-PPV).
