Fox & Friends hosts are outraged at black NFL players kneeling, but laugh at white MLB player in a flag Speedo

Fox hosts regularly attack NFL players for kneeling for the national anthem to protest police brutality, claiming the players disrespect the American flag

Yep, they are just as bad as CNN and MSNBC. The media on both sides are a bunch of jokes. I used to enjoy Sean Hannity and Herman Cain, but all they do is repeat the same talking points and interrupt anyone who disagrees with them.
Thats because Fox is told what they are supposed to say. I like CNN, it seems to be the most balanced.
I would agree that it is probably the "most" balanced, but it is still on the far left. There's no such thing as a balanced news source anymore.
The idea of balanced news is a fallacy. You cant please both sides on a consistant basis.
Unless you, y'know, just TELL THE ******* NEWS instead of twisting it to fit your political narrative.
If a news channel reports that 99% of climate scientists agree that climate change is man made, is that biased?
It's not always what's presented, but how it's presented. If I say 440 for people were killed by cops, it sounds like a lot. If I say only 0.00000133 percent of the American population were killed by cops it sounds totally different. More times than not, both sides are presenting the truth, but in a manner that fits their narrative.

Where do you think there is more money:

A) Being one of thousands of climate scientists that agree with other climate scientists in opposition to the oil companies
B) Being one of just a few climate scientists that are willing to agree with some of the largest, most profitable companies in America

If you actually follow the money (and are honest), you'll agree that it's a much better financial decision for a scientist to choose B.

More government grant money comes with option A.

Maybe you'll believe the actual oil companies:

Chevron:

Chevron shares the concerns of governments and the public about climate change risks and recognizes that the use of fossil fuels to meet the world’s energy needs contributes to the rising concentration of greenhouse gases (GHGs) in Earth’s atmosphere. GHGs contribute to increases in global temperatures.

Shell:

CO2 emissions must be reduced to avoid serious climate change. To manage CO2, governments and industry must work together.

ConocoPhillips:

We recognize that human activity, including the burning of fossil fuels, is contributing to increased concentrations of greenhouse gas (GHG) in the atmosphere that can lead to adverse changes in global climate

Exxon:

Models predict that the present trend of fossil fuel use will lead to dramatic climatic changes within the next 75 years .... Should it be deemed necessary to maintain atmospheric CO2 levels to prevent significant climatic changes, dramatic changes in patterns of energy use would be required

Yes, the climate has changed before but there is strong evidence that this change is man-made.

We can look at the age of carbon isotopes in the atmosphere. Naturally occurring carbon contains young isotopes. Carbon in the atmosphere due to fossil fuel burning does not contain young carbon isotopes.

The ratio of old vs young carbon in the atmosphere has skyrocketed in the last 60 years.

Exxon knew this was a problem in 1979:
Models predict that the present trend of fossil fuel use will lead to dramatic climatic changes within the next 75 years .... Should it be deemed necessary to maintain atmospheric CO2 levels to prevent significant climatic changes, dramatic changes in patterns of energy use would be required.

The earth moved into an ice age once. Some days later, the earth moved out of the ice age. Climate change? Obviously.

Climate change is a natural part of our planet. Scientists can study it all they want, but they can't change it any more than they change the tides of the ocean or plate tectonics.

That said, as a hunter and fisher, I believe in being good stewards of our planet. Maybe we should stop coating it in a layer of concrete and surrounding with another atmosphere made of satellites and space junk.

almost forgot my tangplay disclaimer: I make this post without conceding any points of debate or positions held within prior posts.
Except that it is obviously man made. We have tons of evidence to support that. Water levels are rising and the water is warmer. This causes flooding and worse hurricanes.

Koch brothers literally pays people to do biased studies against climate change. Option 2 is way more profitable.

"Obviously man-made"?!?

You mean we never had flooding or hurricanes until MAN came along and ****** up the planet?!? It's irrational, uninformed comments like this that makes tons of money for climate alarmists.

This planet has been here for over 4.5 BILLION years. We've had ice ages, global extermination events, and, yes, flooding and hurricanes long before man ever decided to burn fossil fuels and spray fluorocarbons into the air.... literally 4.5 billions years of climate change that you can't blame on man.
You misunderstand my point. Yes, climate change CAN be man-made. Yes, extermination events always have happened. However, there is an effect that humans play on the planet, that cannot be explained by your logic. I think we need to show some government initiative to stop the problems. Humans can solve ANY problem if we put our minds to it. Who even cares if it is man-made or not? Why should we say, "well we see all these problems, but not our fault!"

this is an educated guess but i would think that the black homicide numbers would be much different minus one place - chicago.
That is probably right, but it kind of proves the rights point. Chicago has the strictest gun laws in America.
LOL, not by a longshot. Just another talking point regurgitated constantly by conservatives and those pushing the black on black narrative.

Maybe when handguns were outlawed and conceal carry was almost impossible to get, but that was years ago and both bans were overturned by the courts...the supreme court and the 7th circuit.
LOL.....Bueller....Bueller? No-one wants to come here and admit they were suckered in and duped by the Trump admin on this crap?
