Wow, take one night off and I miss all the action. Marvin, time will tell if you are the crappiest; many (including myself) spent years trying to maintain that title. Somehow as you lose a ton of games and pay attention to the team write-ups, something called "learning" happens. I used to always try to squeeze Jays and Expos on my teams due to me being a proud Canadian. This year I have decided to forego that policy. I don't want to poke the proverbial bear either but I will say this: I understand and sympathize with anyone feeling wronged under the WISC format. Nobody wants anything other than fun and a good challenge. I see how hard it is and the effort needed to formulate rankings and attempt to keep things as fair for everyone while understanding that the best owners have earned the right to be seeded as such that the lower ranked teams need to find a way to upset them to advance. I personally want to beat the best to be the best. I also pay out of my pocket, but I look at it more as training over wasting money. I know that some of the best owners ever play here and I someday want to earn the respect that comes from making the cage. Nothing in life is perfect, but in no way is it fair to question the integrity of the members who work so hard to put this together. Bad beats happen, but there is no intentionality behind any perceived wrongdoing. I hope we can all just enjoy the competition, improve through our victories and defeats, and see if we can't upset some of the top dogs!
