Curious to hear thoughts on Cheeks. 98 ADP (early 5th) goes late 9th. I used to value him highly and he was near the top of my list of mid round value PG who play great D, solid passing and efficient yet low usage scorer. My opinion has evolved as I've evolved my strategy and seen what's successful, but I still think he's pretty valuable. For me with Kawhi, Luka I took Moncrief for the first time to get even better D and the usage. Curious to hear others thoughts on Cheeks. Was it just a situational thing where everyone had a guard, other needs or needed usage? Or something else.
I am not a fan. I have no use for a low usage PG who doesn’t shoot threes, high TO% and is an atrocious rebounder. I can’t fathom ever drafting him. That’s just a brutal combination of weaknesses in this format. I love Moncrief because he can defend three positions, is an excellent offensive rebounder for a guard and has a much lower TO%.
Was thinking about this and remembering that someone started Cheeks at PG and an unnamed thunderous Suns player at SF and somehow still finished top 10. **** goes crazy sometimes.
that was ridiculous...im one of the few owners that probably still views lebron as more of a sg...but its only to add more 3s/ast or take advantage of a good pg falling

bds went out of his way to add cheeks and his lack of 3s waaaay too early...and playing thunder d at sf was just completely insane...he finished top 10? damn lebron is that good

cheeks is incredible value late 9th imo if used as your backup pg

i wouldnt view him as a starter unless you can cover his 3s or are just punting 3s with a defense heavy team...its a tough fit

excited to dust off ol' boardlord mel daniels...he was a draft staple when i first started with that awesome 40% creb season...im probably gonna use heavy mins from his other usable season too

I still don’t understand why everyone wants rebounds, rebounds and more rebounds to go along with some threes when all you need to draft is hustle and attitude.

Think I could put together a team with creb of 150 if I wanted, but probably will try to balance most of the teams.

I definitely could not do that.

I’ll probably be one of the worst defensive rebounding and assist teams in the league.

S.Curry/T.Parker

Numbers look pretty good. Bench is weaker than i'd prefer. Hoping I'm placed in divisions with weak D guards :-)

Luka/D. Murray /D'Angelo
Kawhi/Moncrief
Outlaw/Josh Smith
B Wallace/Biyombo/Lanier/McAdoo
Lanier/McAdoo
