Why not just make it ok to chat with other coaches, then making friends and getting to know other coaches would be part of the game, you'd know more coaches then the handful in your conference. Just a thought as I'm fairly certain stopping collusion with this is going to be near impossible.

The difference is that it is their career to talk about basketball all day. I don't have time to make friends with several other coaches and exchange information. That should not put me at a disadvantage from competing in HD

I would love to see an option that allows insight into how much other people have into recruits in the region. Even if it's just a Low - Med - High type of answer. Maybe then we wouldn't let 5 star players walk into high prestige schools for <$2000.

Maybe a response like "You can make a run at the kid, because Duke only has a low investment."

mlatsko that's what i think it kindof will be like, you can very easily see based on what it appears the scouting service will provide, if someone made a big push or not. It could very well make d1 recruiting a lot more exciting.

Re reading it this might have a decent effect on div III with the updates. It says when there opinions change you will get notified. That would be cool to get an update that play Y might be dropping to you soon so you got a cycle or 2 (depending on prestige) heads up to toss out a campus visit or whatever to nab him right as he dropped. Aside from that theres nothing useful in div III that I can see.

Thats Y I said I doubt it will, not that it wont. Hopefully it does, but it just don't sound that way to me.

They've been working on this for, what now 2-3 years? Who's to say its not huge furry. I expect this to be a great addition for the amount of time its been in planning and development.
