COlonels. . its because you keep harping incessently on things that in fact AREN'T PROBLEMS> and the fact that even people who are otherwise critical tell you they aren't problems should tell you something. EIther you can invent bizzare conspiracy theories that everyone is arguing aginast their own positions just to personally spite you, or you can be remotely rational.

And I'm just supposed to accept the excuses of guys that admittedly don't like me and want nothing more than to shut me up because you say so? Wow...hilarious. I'm not the only guy that thinks this is a problem my friend, so broaden your horizons. I mean really, read the titles of these threads....nothing says real life quite like an 0-16 in conference team making the CT final.

ANd we're supposed to accept the arguments of a paranoid conspiracy theorist?

Conspiracy theorist...lol. I would love nothing more than for WIS to operate and run properly, at peak efficiency, using normal, as close to true randomness if not true randomness as possible. I want the site to be everything it can be and then some, but I've seen probably at least 100 examples that make me think that this isn't the case.

Two problems: One: Anecdotal evidence does not a case make. . .

And second, I think a game that ran the way you described woudl lose allot of its appeal with an awful lot of people, with all the big comebacks and surprising games gone.

ANd as to conspiracy theoriest. .COlonels. .taht you seeming to believe that everyone is conspiring to disagree with you only because they don't like you, not because, possibly, they actually believe you aren';t right.

I'm not advocating against this, I'm advocating for these things to happen because of perceivably normal and ideally TRUE randomness. Like I said, if I was convinced that randomness worked correctly all the time and that the sim didn't take *****, I would embrace every 100-0, odd occurence every time it happened...that's simply not the case.

I don't even care about that to be honest.

I think its a fact that needs to be stated...it isn't coincidental that the same guys pop up every time I say something that's anti-WIS....you know that.

The thing is, I've given you guys more than you ever bargained for, and you simply thought "we'll put this guy in his place, its a one round fight, its over" and it isn't because I'm not as dumb as you guys initially thought, and you now realize that.

. . .I thought you didn't care? If you don't care, then why does it bneed to be said. . .

ANd COlonels. . those same guys pop up in other threads as well all the time. . Because they are guys who post allot!

Colonels -

Your obsession with "TRUE RANDOMNESS" is ridiculous. Whether or not they use truly random numbers generated within the sim is irrelevant. These numbers are just inputs into their code, and the code does whatever it wants to them.

For example, I can easily create crazy upsets while still using purely random numbers if I wanted to. First I generate a random number to decide whether or not the underdog team will get a boost. If so, every player rating for that team is increased by 50%. Then the game is simmed.

But everything is fine, since truly random numbers are used.

I am not saying that WIS does anything like this necessarily, just that your obsession with looking at the random numbers that are generated is way off the mark. If anything, you should be questioning the sim engine, not the randomness of the numbers generated.

I can't believe you guys keep falling for the same routine over and over...........

It needs to be stated because people on the outside of these arguments need to know that there's a natural bias in the on-goings thus instead of "colonels must be a real ******* because all these guys are ****** at him" it becomes "these guys are already anti-colonels, I want to see what colonels is saying myself so I can weigh in on what he has said, not how everyone has reacted".

So everyone who disagrees with you shoudl just shut up, so they can see your argument without disagreement tainting it?
