tanner's description is fairly optimistic, I was not near that impressed, but the beta was working OK at the end, still all over the map, but OK.

thinkgis I don't want hopes to get too high, this process is probably going to be painful for several months, then will slowly forget about the 'old' engine. Much like FSS took some time to get used to, then a major fix helped, then all of a sudden, everything was fine. This is far more complex than fss, and will take some time, hang in there everyone.
Please OR don'rt remind me. I still remember Tarek and CS saying the potential growth rates were working exactly as intended ...

And that's really one area that seble has significantly differentiated himself from TK ... he's not continually BS'ing us saying that everything is perfect when it clearly isn't, and he's really and truly willing to listen to our feedback and do something about it.

That alone makes me optimistic, although like OR, I do assume there will be some rough patches for the first few months of the new engine.

That sound you hear? Its hundreds of simultaneous "0" keystrokes being entered as the team practice minutes for the press. God help the people that keep running the FCP in this new engine.

I dunno; I'm 3-0 running the press so far; admittedly in large part because I'm generating as many fouls as I am committing.

Interesting. I blew out (both times) a pretty good team at their place while they were running the FCP. Their IQs were a little on the low side but nothing like 8-new-players' low.

I'm 3-0 running the press w. my DII team against human DI teams. Granted, we're a really good DII team, but still.

Sable, we haven't spoke but I've paid attention to the job you've been doing and just want to say thank you for all of the hard work and long hours you've put in. This is one of the best, most realistic sports sim games on the internet, and I have no doubt that you will make it even better. Thanks again!

i had 23 TOs against a terrible halfcourt pressing team today.

Aside from the constructive notes, let's ask a question...is this about 7 pages of you all ******** at each other, or about a new sim engine and its pluses and minuses so it can be made better?

Seble, are players set to rest (reserved for an injured player) not playing if they are not hurt. Seems to me they are resting even when healthy. The rest default should be mopup if they are 100%.

Still no stats on the player profile page for inelgibles in the first season. Thought it was fixed in the beta, but now it is not.
