It's not like their entire offense is beat up.   So, with that in mind, they could put up 50 against NE.
No...just either QB, and 1st and 2nd RB's.

it could unfold very nicely if Cincy can beat Houston...I like the idea of hosting the Bengals while Pittsburgh has to battle it out in Baltimore
we just need either cincy or houston to win, upside of both is that if cincy upsets baltimore then we have the easiest path to the SB in the NFL history.

If cincy beats Houston, then they wouldn't play Balt.  We get the lower seed and Cincy is 6th.

Pats can only play Denver(4), Pitt(5) or Cincy(6).  Ravens can play Houston(3), Denver(4) or Pitt(5).

yeah, meant to say cincy or denver w/ denver beating balt.

you get the gist.

Gotcha.

I love all the hype about McD coming back and how it gives the Pats an even bigger edge.

A) The Broncos ran totally different offensive and defensive schemes under McDaniels

B) McD clearly wasn't successful at knowing/maximizing on his team's abilities

C) For all the talk about him drafting Tebow and how well he knows his tendences - Tebow never started a game under McDaniels. All of his starts last season came after Josh got fired.

I'm sure he'll have some knowledge to share, but it'll hardly be game-changing.

Here's why McD is back.

NOBODY yells at pretty boy and keeps his job.

Uhhh, the Broncos had a better offense last year than this year.

Not my point. How well can McD know the Broncos offense and Tebow when this is a totally different offense than the one he ran, and he never had/saw Tebow start a game while he was there? He never coached Tebow in game action or saw up close how he prepares for/plays in games.

I think the value he adds is far overrated. I guarantee Bill knows far more about Tebow already than McDaniels does.

Oh, you mean for this game?

Is he even going to be with the team for the game?  I agree it seems unlikely that he would give NE an edge in this matchup, but it's not like they need one anyway.  Denver gonna get raped.

Ya, he's their "offensive assistant" till the end of the season. And if NE wins this game (which I think they will), it won't be because of anything McD has to add.
