colonels sounds like a genteel elder statesman, utterly reasonable, positive, and humble.

What the hell is going on around here?
Human sacrifice, cats and dogs living together...mass hysteria!
Nice GB reference!

So the brilliant whitey went to community college... shocking.

Yes, I recognize that for some people based on their background getting into community college is seen as a major accomplishment.  I don't think that's the case here.
It's not his fault.  He typed his English assignments up on his droid.  His teacher should have known that he doesn't care about his grammar on his droid.  S/he just didn't understand real English.
dont droids auto correct, like iphones do?

He had a 50% scholarship to Cmu with maybe full after yr 1 or 2. Or he could get full ride at hope. Guessing obviously there are ways around it.
i went to CMU, and had friends on scholarships, in their athletic programs - including football, which you would expect to be the shady program, if there was one. as others have somehow mysteriously presumed, all of these people were on academic scholarships, and i knew most of their scores coming in - they were well deserved scholarships. i cant remember meeting someone under a 1500 on their SAT (before they went from 1600 max to 2400, obviously) who had an academic there, so i can basically guarantee you either have no idea what you are talking about, or your friend was offered an academic scholarship (which i doubt, usually people smart enough to get a scholarship to a school like that have smart friends), although i certainly dont intend for that OR to be exclusive.

edit: whoops, typed that yesterday, i didnt mean to bump this stupid thread to the top again. i just saw a post that didnt go through, and sent it on its way...
