Some people are going to have a world of trouble once the clock starts
Some of us have lives outside of this site. I will be one of them. It took over 8 months to fill this theme. I'm sorry but I don't get why we are in a hurry now.

Patience is a virtue.

Not this cat. Yesterday, Taint indicated he had a round of golf and would not be able to pick until later in the day. He picked at 9:00p which was fine...people have a life outside of WIS. I was out of pocket last night and picked as soon as I could this morning. My pick is in and I'll sitemail the next 3.

Once the clock starts, I'll be Johnny on the spot.
Amen...It's also Mother's Day weekend. A lot of people haven't seen their parents in two months to boot. Today will be the second time I've seen mine since the shelter in place orders.

As always, I’m open to suggestions. We do need to find a way to keep things moving consistently though.

Some of us are entering our third month of home confinement. I have not seen my children or grandchildren but once, and then from a distance. WIS, and reading is how I spend most of the time. I found a 6 hour stoppage very frustrating because I enjoy draft leagues even though I stink. Seeing all the above comments, this will be my final one, because I am obviously in the minority.

Just my 2 cents, but I know everyone is in a different boat when it comes to this lockdown and whatnot. I think a skipping draft picks due to a timer will have a major adverse effect on the theme of this league. Some of us are essential workers, others are out of work, and the rest are in my boat where we're working from home (in my case 8 hours of meetings and 4 hours of work a day), some have kids (i have two, one less than 2 months old) and have other duties that don't always let us pick at exact times or during certain times of day. I think once we're past the second round and this Mother's Day weekend we can get into a groove without a timer. Maybe we can even break well into round 3 today, who knows! I agree with those preaching patience. The first few rounds are always rough, but we'll get there!

I appreciate the feedback. I’m willing to go another round off the clock to see how things progress, if that’s what the majority people want.

Agreed. I was contemplating him when I took Alexander

Was actually hoping Bradsher would take him so I'd get him as well and then I could've taken my other guy. I just couldn't pass him up.

Any idea what you are going to do if someone ends up with 14 or more pitchers? Probably won't happen but with slots being moved around you might get behind others who draft pitchers and you don't have room for em?

Hoping it won't come to that, but my thought is whoever is over on pitchers can nominate 3 pitchers for removal from the team and 3 positions to be added. Then the league can vote on who is removed and added on that team.
