If there were no salary cap, barracuda's pitching would be awesome. '88 Silver King, '08 Mordecai Brown, '05 Christy Mathewson, '88 Elton Chamberlain. There's $74 million worth of pitching right there.

Speaking of players who I can't afford, I'm going to draft a second baseman who I can't afford so I can get an outfielder who I can't afford.

The interesting thing about this draft is that there just aren't that many hitters that are worthy of a starting lineup spot. Tip O'Neill of course has many start-worthy options. I got one of the Dale Mitchell starting options. Now I will get my third starting batter, allowing me 3 pitching teammate (+6 hitting teammates).
