You know nothing about me other than I haven't accepted Jesus Christ as my savior. I notice you didn't answer my question about what the Bible quote proves. Just that it is sad and shows my so called ignorance. I also like how you say I am "feigning" it when I say you could be right and I could be wrong . How would you know what I am thinking or what is in my heart. Whether you believe it or not, I do not know if your beliefs are right or wrong. Plus, I am not even sure what my beliefs are, so how could I think they are right? I have never scorned Jesus Christ. I have said I am not sure he was the son of God, but I believe he definitely existed and he has some valuable teachings as well. The problem is many so called Christians are no closer to following his teachings then I am. I have never denied Jesus. The only person I have ever really showed animosity towards is lnf and you have admitted yourself he can be annoying. I guess now I have shown animosity towards you too, but I don't care. When you tell me what I am thinking and that I am a hater, just because I don't agree with you, well, maybe you should read the teachings of Jesus Christ again. You may have missed a few things.

Fair question, I get tired of it and try to walk away. For every 1 I jump in on there's 99 I let pass. They enjoy being antagonistic (some have personally told me that). My background is in cold witnessing in tough environs. I can usually wade thru the first 50 lines of defense just fine and anything further I/we walk away, content that the rest is between them and God and maybe another sewer of oats some other time. Here, the ridicule is 24/7 with no honest conv intended. Never seeking reward for 'flipping' him but thinking his demeanor might be different, I thought wylie might be worth engaging. I was wrong. He does have a 'nice' way about him but it's a smokescreen to how he really feels. Took me forever to figure that out and it's tough for me to admit that I'm wrong.

Once again, you know next to nothing about me. You say my "nice way" is a smokescreen? How do you know? I have never ridiculed yours or anyone else's faith. I have questioned how someone can believe everything they read in the Bible. While some, if not most of it may be true there are some claims that just seem ridiculous to me. Abraham lived to be 175?? Moses was 120? Does that make sense? People are living longer than ever these days and medical breakthroughs continue to increase life spans, but somehow these guys centuries ago lived that long?? It may be true, but I doubt it.

The Bible was written by humans. Humans tend to interpret things they want to interpret them, and see what they want to see. No man is perfect, so logically nothing man writes can be perfect either,

My God is the only legit God and my "group" is better than yours...............because it's MINE.

Our Founding documents MAY be superior (even divinely inspired?) but we as people.................we're still just people. HUMANS, complete with all human foibles just like all other peoples.

We are NO BETTER nor no WORSE.
We are humans, complete with plenty of HORRIBLE Historic acts throughout our past. It's time we humbly accept the truth about US.
We are no better than anyone.

Yes humans are horrible people.

However, I would argue that the US has gotten far more right than wrong and did indeed build the best example of government so far.
American exceptionalism is far more than a myth, although I agree the term has been misused and cited to support many things that belittle the notion.

Unfortunately, the Republic was always dependent upon individual responsibility. That has grown increasingly scarce throughout our history and is especially in short supply currently.

Some of this Christian stuff is hard. The LORD has absolutely worked miracles in my life. I know I'm vain and self-centered. I constantly fight the flesh (as did Paul the Apostle). Some things are easier than others to do but one of the most important tenets of CHRIST is forgiveness. I'm not saying it's easy but it is absolutely necessary. I thank GOD every day for CHRIST and the forgiveness he has afforded all mankind should they want it.

As for Mr. Wylies understanding of Leviticus....I fear he didn't actually read the scripture and that's why he doesn't understand the context. He probably went to one of those websites that unsuccessfully tries to find error in the text. It's been 2000 years and they have yet to be successful in their endeavor. He probably doesn't know why the particular book he quotes from is called LEVITICUS. He probably doesn't know who Levi was. I'm sure he doesn't understand the function of the Levites or the sanctity of the Alter of GOD or the Holy of Hollies or the veil. (CHRIST tore the veil in two when he defeated death on the cross and now holds the Keys to life and death)

I would be more than willing to talk to Mr. Wylie about those who were allowed to eat the bread of GOD and participate in worship but were not allowed to make the offering itself. Perhaps he will unblock me and engage. Perhaps not. That's up to Mr. Wylie. You know.....that FREE WILL thing God offers.
