I'm not sure they are the cause of the Canuck's woes this season.  Both tied for 6th in scoring, scored in all but 3 games this season, on pace for 80-100 points, anchoring one of the most productive power plays in the league up to this point, and at a reasonable cap hit for first lines.

I'm looking more at the D right now.

With Sami Salo getting closer to his return to the line-up the D-core is about to change.

With Salo on the team Canuck's are way over the cap, so someone has to go??

....Since the Sharks are struggling and in need of a D-man, why not trade Ballard to the Sharks.  Maybe we could squeeze Demers out of the Sharks for Ballard.

Either way, when Salo returns one of Bieksa, Salo, Ballard or Ehrhoff has to go for cap reasons.  Maybe the Sharks would have more interest in Bieksa??

 I would rather trade Salo,we can never count on him ,too injury prone..Bieksa needs to stay,just to provide toughness on D, you need a few guys like that.. cant we deal Luongo somewhere? maybe for Rask and Lucic..

 Luongo looked like crap again last nite ,flashback to the playoffs of the last 2 years, and the stinger is that a rookie beat the 10 million dollar piece of sh!t..it wasnt even Niemi or Turco...

 Didnt make the big save again ,i dont wanna hear how he couldnt be blamed on deflections..I saw Bryzgalov stop many of the same type of deflections all game... I guess  you cant blame the Canucks ,not having both Sedins in the line up tonite, makes a difference

Ehrhoff was ok......everyone else took the night off.

I never saw any of the interviews after the game, did anyone else?  I'm wondering if he threw any of his teammates under the bus again.

 I dont even listen to his crap anymore,its always the same interview, the same BS he says everytime..never says it was his fault..he was a terrible choice as captain for that reason alone...

tough decision for coach V on friday , do u start luongo and let him get lit up in chicago again? he will be mentally screwed  if he gets torched again ,the hawks are in his head already, he will become a basket case soon

Well there's two ways you can look at it...either you play Luongo every time and hope he figures out the hawks in the regular season, or you never start him against them again and hope he doesn't have to meet them in the playoffs...I still think the Canucks will figure it out this season...gl friday guys, here's to a great battle.
