You can draft more TOs if you draft more boards. This is just a fact, and 20ks has exploited it to perfection so far
Okay, but...but...Cowens and Micheal Ray? And Reggie at SF? Everything I thought I know about this sim turns out to be a lie.

Cowens was pretty darn successful in S1 for Mambo

...Reggie at SF...? Yeah I’m stumped on that one too

bds, I'm a little confused by what you mean here. Do you mean:

a) The more boards you have, you can gain back some of the possessions you lose by turnovers.
or
b) The more boards you have, the less turnovers you will have.

After a 10 games sample size, I want to come back and ask this question:

Is it better to sacrifice a weak team to strong teams, or end up with a strong team in a strong division?
9/2/2020 3:12 PM
we don't really get to make that choice since we don't know the strength of teams that are going to be in our division. but given the choice, I'd rather have my strong teams dominate and sacrifice a "weak" team as bantha fodder. However, in both Savage leagues now the team I thought was my weakest is leading it's division, so I can't even form weak teams accurately let alone predict a stronger or weaker division.

Yes. My "third best" may actually be my best, or maybe the division just stinks. So you are right it is a crapshoot.

Felt I had to chime in on the Reggie at SF. A few seasons ago in the TEPL, X6-X7, I started Reggie at SF, played him starter's minutes pretty much exclusively there. The TEPL doesn't have the same amount of great players, but it's still got a lot. I went 45-37 and got to the Conference Finals. I had David Robinson on IR that season, so I was really hoping to tank by putting Reggie at SF, but nope. The starting backcourt was Mark Jackson/CJ McCollum. M-Jax is a good rebounder for a PG, but he shouldn't be able to cover for CJ/Reggie on the wings. My other 2 starters were a decent, not great, rebounding year for Dikembe, and pre-break-thru Giannis. In a league with a lot of great rebounders at the 3, I did alright with Reggie at SF.
Basically, in spite of the #s, the SIM will continue to surprise us.

Lou Dort having a f'ing out of body experience on offense this game.

- Herro is going to be a really, really good NBA player
- No max player is asked to do less than Middleton, but I swear he has some of the best footwork for a perimeter player in the NBA
- Giannis is such a strange player, to be so good, the MVP of the league and yet seemingly consistently easy for a team with time to gameplan around and somewhat neutralize?
- Holy **** the refs

That is nuts. I was just praising his footwork to a casual fan. He was incredulous.

It’s cool because it is really intricate footwork for opening up a jumper instead of a post up or a drive but also not in a “trying to draw a bullshit foul” sort of way. He is really elegant to watch.
