Once Trump is free to release his tax returns (he promised, so we know he's dying to, it's these dang audits holding him up) he'll prove once and for all that he's completely clean with respect to Russian ties and other assorted corruption. Probably no surprises in the returns at all, except maybe for bitter lefties who will have to eat crow over Trump's generous charitable donations, the high amount of tax he pays, and him being, like, ten times richer than anybody ever thought.

I would hope we can prevent this. They have to sell this, so I would hope this is fairly accommodating...

I wish he would release his returns, just to shut people up. I don't care what he's worth. Forbes has him at $4.5B...

he should do it because he is supposed to......it has created such intrigue......they could eventually be subpoenaed.

To say he pays no taxes isn't accurate. If he has business losses and expenses that equal or surpass his earnings, he doesn't OWE taxes perhaps. That is not uncommon, especially if he had troubled years. But I too want them released for transparency purposes. Keep your promise and make them public...

He'll never release them voluntarily. And it appears unlikely they'll be leaked. Perhaps he "misspoke" when he promised to release them?

Misspoke needs to be removed from politics. Hold them ALL accountable for what they say. Bill Clinton wiggled out of how he used the word "is"...
