Do you not get it that the benefits you offer are up to you? You don't have to cover the cost of spousal insurance.
Do you have a job? When you were seeking this job, assuming you have one, did benefits come into play?
Of course, the business owner can change or remove benefits. However, that will affect morale and/or quality of employee.
Why would we choose to kill a business so 3%(I think that's the number you used) can get married?
What's more important to you? SSM or the economic recovery of America?
