Okay - Knight has finished processing recruiting period 1. 16 of the 17 top 25 recruits that signed, were signed by Big Six schools (congrats to Cornell, who broke through)! 94% success signing rate! What was it that you guys were whining about again?

The absurdity of Cornell signing a top 25 recruit - was that somehow unclear?

Actually, Knight recruiting period 1 doesn't end until 11:00 pm Eastern, and there were actually two non Big Six schools signing players in the top 25, San Jose St also signed the #21 overall recruit.

Truthfully, Cornell signing a top 25 recruit is no more absurd than the UConn team in Knight (or any team for that matter) making 42 consecutive NT appearances. There's nothing realistic about that either.

True, of course there is nothing realistic about a SIM coached and recruited team either of which there are plenty

Yeah, in what universe would a top 25 recruit ever consider an Ivy League school. How absurd! Oh wait...

Here is a small sample of Ivy Leaguers who made the big time!

Jeff Foote - Cornell
Jeremy Lin - Harvard
Bill Bradly - Princeton (was offered 75 college scholarships!)
Geoff Petrie - Princeton
Rudy LaRusso - Dartmouth

Bill Bradley was 50 years ago - are you for real with this ****?
9/23/2016 8:38 AM
Geesh Dacj - you helped me get started in this game! IKR - facts are stubborn things! I'll assume it was an oversight that you ignored the first two players on the list (and never mind that many experts, to this day, consider Bill Bradly to be the greatest collegiate basketball player of all time!), and give you another list to find fault with!

Non-Big Six NBA All-Stars

Scottie Pippen - University of Central Arkansas
Karl "The Mailman" Malone - Louisiana Tech
Stephen Curry - Davidson
Larry Bird - Indiana State
Paul George - Fresno State
Kawhi Leonard - San Diego State
Julius "The Doctor" Erving - University of Massachusetts

some folks are just not going to get over losing the ability to sign a huge uncontested haul of 5-star recruits every season.
