IMPORTANT NOTICE FOR WIS Topic

THERE NEEDS TO BE A MESSAGE SENT TO YOUR INBOX WHEN RECRUITING STARTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This just cost me in Phelen. I had not been paying much attention to that team because my conference sucks and my team is good. I check back today and BAM, two days into recruiting. I am going to have to struggle to bring together a good class in this new system that basically requires you to recruit from the start. This seems like an easy fix for WIS to do, and it is something that was in use before the update. Now that recruiting is done during the year, it is even more important to remind players that recruiting is starting. THIS NEEDS TO HAPPEN!

agreed

its a problem, has been discussed and should be done

But guys, remember when everyone was complaining about cash allowing someone to come in late? Completely ignoring the fact it allowed some flexibility if, god forbid, you can't recruit the first day or 2. that game was so unfair! now we get to build in leads on recruits with AP.

Even though a message would be great and a big convenience, at the end of the day the responsibility is on each coach to know what is going on with each of their teams. My point is -- let's not blast WIS and yell at them for something that is ultimately your responsibility. Let's not blame them for something you screwed up on. This sounds like something that is "ticket worthy" and not just "let's go to the forum and type in all caps trying to blame WIS for my mess up".

Again, I don't disagree with you at all that the message would be helpful... I just think there are bigger fish to fry.

There is no bigger fish to fry than keeping users engaged.

That was a real problem during beta despite the game being free to play and players being allowed to start at whatever level they wanted.

These emails are cheap and important functionality that I can't think of any good reason to cancel.

I thought scouting was going to keep coaches much more engaged with their teams on a daily basis...

Not once did I disagree with main point the OP's message. I disagreed with how it was delivered (by just yelling on the forums) and with the attempt to transfer blame of missing recruiting onto WIS.

if it can only be one, I'd prefer in-game messages. I'd prefer not to clutter my real life email.

I'd prefer regular email in case I don't log into WIS every day.

Maybe they can send an uber to your house and have the driver knock on the door .. and if no answer then maybe he could drive to your work :)

It is not so easy is it .. I also HATE getting spam email to my real account.

Thank you.

WIS also needs to get the dates correct as shown on screen for recruiting. IBA recruiting still tells you recruiting starts 10/19, and ONLY if you go into the hard to locate World Calendar, do you see correct information.

Really guys, we may be the fish in your pond, but taking us for granted makes us more like Lemming heading for the sea!
