So I'm not interested in playing HD anymore, I have 5 seasons in my "renewal bank" that aren't assigned to teams, I sent a ticket in to see if I could get those 5 seasons worth of credits transferred over to Hardball Dynasty credits because I'd like to try that out instead. I didn't ask for money back or want anything from them other than what I feel I've paid/earned in my time here in the HD world, all I asked is for them to access a value to those 5 seasons and convert them into Hardball Dynasty credits. I was told I needed to go to the refund section of the account info page and that is where I learned that for those 5 seasons that I have no plan on using I would receive (drum role please!!!!) a whopping 45¢, oh and they'll even put that 45¢ back on my credit card if I'd like....wtf kind of policy is that???? I don't want money from them I just want to try another product of theirs, on the same website, all under the same login name and for the trouble/work it apparently causes them to do what I feel would be a simple task they're going to charge me ($12.95 x 5 = $64.75, $64.75 - .45 = $64.30) $64.30 to do this. Huh must be some hard times at Fox these days...

I wish I could say I was surprised. They've shown they care little for the customers.

I have had similar experiences with WIS in both HD and HDB. Not once did they give in a little. I'm barely holding on by a thread, but more than likely I'll be completely done with WIS soon.

It's too bad because I would have been a customer for life under 2.0. Maybe they could sell that version for someone else to run? 3.0 will be the death of HD no matter how much people want to defend it.

3.0 is manageable, provided they can make a few patches to the game. It doesn't have an effect on my team, but the EE problem needs to be fixed. Also, get rid of the dice roll. The team that puts in the most effort gets the recruit, simple as that. At least if I'm at 48% and I can't get any closer, it gives me the opportunity to go for a backup.I think maybe they could generate a separate pool for EE's or just add more to the overall recruit population. Or my other solution would be to limit each team to one early entry per season.

I'm guessing that the 5 seasons you have left were mostly "purchased" using HD credits rather than you paying the full $12.95 for each season...perhaps? If so, those credits are game specific and can not be moved around. I don't agree with such a policy but it would be an explanation.

As an aside, HBD is an excellent game to try.

The season were mostly purchased using reward points (from SLB and SLB TOC) which they don't refund and also HD credits. The only "loophole" I've come across is that the credits can be transferred to another user, so now I just need a buyer!! I've got 5 transferable credits, I'm thinking $10 a piece or all 5 for $45, and it can be sent directly to my user name as a gift card because all I want is to try out the Hardball Dynasty.

Hope you do try HBD. There is a steep learning curve and the game is complicated but I love it.
