Okay, I just signed a recruit in Wooden. The last 3 or 4 cycles both Fordham and another school were listed as Very High. After I signed him I dropped to High.

Our effort was pretty similar, I had one more HV and 5 more minutes promised, he has a little more than a 100 AP. Our preferences were also very similar (success, offense style, offense type) but he had a distance advantage preference.

Is this a bug, me dropping from Very High to High after signing?

Agreed. This reverse engineering seems like it could become a fair play issue.

I think jpmills noted this same thing happening which would make it difficult to judge the results of battles.

This is a clear violation of the Fair Play guidelines regarding collusion.

I think he asked him after signing. I think what probably happened is that in the signing cycle, the change in consideration happened. Just my guess though.

This isn't beta world anymore, you aren't simply trying to develop a stable version of the game.

Sharing detailed information like this, even after the pursuit is over, provides an unfair advantage, even if the info is shared on the forums (which not every coach reads).

There is NOTHING stopping everyone from doing the same.

You're right this is difficult to police. That's always been a challenge under the guidelines.

I respectfully disagree about the harm.

+1 away. The marketplace will decide whether this game is set up so new coaches think it's fair.

I'm just pointing out the concern, not submitting a ticket.

I understand the concern, sundevil. And I would totally agree with you if information were being shared during the recruiting process. But if information is shared after the recruit has signed, neither side has an advantage.
