Megan Kelly is a pretty good example. I'd heard of her, knew who she was, didn't care. My assumption is she wasn't that big of a deal. She has a tiff with Trump, she's on the news every day. Pretty sure she's a hot commodity these days. She didn't get better. She got recognized. How could the up and comer care as much about as reporting the news when being confrontational with a candidate can get you so much more?

She was number two in the ratings behind O'Reilly pretty consistently from at least early 2015 until the feud with Trump.

And anyway, her feud with Trump was right. She asked him tough questions and called him out for things he said. We need that.

Correction, she was #1 in April 2015 but has held #2 pretty consistently since.

Well, **** me. She's on at 9 PM between O'Reilly and Hannity. And it looks like every night. I thought she was like a guest host. Who knew? Other than dougout, of course.
