So with my Grande Valley State Team I have 6 guards, 1 had a guaranteed start, 1 senior and 2 juniors who were going to carry the bulk of the load, and 2 sophomores. I knew there was not enough minutes to go around so I tried to red shirt both of the sophomores, but they both did not accept it. halfway through the season I have gotten a message from both of them saying they want more minutes. If this was real life I would tell them both its their fault because I tried to red shirt them and they were too cocky to take it. This is frustrating, I am going to need these guys next year and the year after but I do not currently need them to play this season. Fortunately my conference sucks, so I think I can get by without my optimal lineup, both of these guys already have low WE and I cannot afford to have them go down.

Just give the sophomores more minutes against the weaker teams, that's all.

Yeah, it's just annoying how neither of them accepted the RS and now they want more minutes.

Nope, still one. He tried one, then tried the other.
