Ok ward maybe it's time to give up the stories, just because trump gets away with it from a debatable 20-25% of the country doesn't mean you should follow his lead. People respect honest people, telling us about your real failures and triumphs is life carries way more meaning then trying to feed people lines of bull, any fact that you mix in is automatically assumed a lie because that's the precedence that you laid out for yourself. Basically cut the $)(!T and people will start torespect you opinions and facts in the future
But what I said is what I know?

Back on topic, two of these coaches, oldman and treyomo, were new to their schools, so they probably did do all they possibly could to land this recruit.

To the school. Oldman left msu for SIM bc. Treyomo left lsu and took msu.

No excuses for Oldman to lose that recruit. Maybe this shows the lack of experience on Oldman part?

Yes, it's my contention that HD defies time.
Assuming this is sarcasm, which might be a wrong assumption with you, since HD is affecting by time just like everything else, there is a "last minute". Now you may want to dispute the parameters of "last minute" but, for me, RS2 is in range of "last minute".

This couldn't be more ridiculous. Oldman has 20-ish titles and is one of the best ever to play this game. That said, I realize both BC and Sparty were still listed as "very high" when the kid signed. But both schools had new coaches in RS2 when the kid made his decision. Correct me if I'm wrong but schools lose some of the effort accrued between RS1 and RS2 when a new coach comes along, right? The catch is we don't know how much effort is lost and whether or not the coaching changes affected anything (like maybe allowing the D2 school to get from moderate to high).

I was talking about 3.0.

I am sorry that I am not experienced enough, but I try my best. Just to set the records straight I had $14000.00 (14 homes) and 10 minutes on the recruit. I switched schools after 47 seasons just to have a change.

I am not qualified to comment on division 1 questions.

I agree with this. Prestige has been neutered. AP's can easily overcome prestige now. As A+ UCLA with almost perfect preferences, I had to sweat out C+ Northern Arizona on a kid that was was almost fully maxed out in recruiting effort on (e.g. - 20 mins, 20 HVs, cv), except for a start. They were able to overcome two full grades essentially on AP's alone (they simply had more to dole out). I don't think that's a good outcome.

Also, despite complete max effort on another kid (start, 25 mins, 20 HVs, cv), I was only able to get to high against an A- Cal. That seems silly too that Cal's AP's mitigated prestige so heavily.

A+ to C+ same preferences, ap don't play a huge role, 160 ap = 1hv...

A+ full effort VH, C+, same effort, moderate maybe low

Nope. This is wrong.

Really? Something seems seriously broken about this then. Were the preferences totally lined up against you? No way a D2 should be able to compete with 14 home visits from a D1.
