Remember the Spudhole you are talking to. The truth gets lost when all he wants to do is be an ***....which is 90% of the time
Someone should put him in his place and drive him down to moderate where he's only an *** 30% of the time.
If only there wasn't a cap on HV and CV, right?
I'd gladly pay any price.

This post has a rating of , which is below the default threshold.
That's easy cuz I've already won the NT.

Why do you say that? He could have very well been all in but with prestige having its nuts cut off, not be able to push simai into moderate.
Because SIMAI can't make promises. So, if SIMAI was all in sans promises, and AC was all with a better prestige and promises, who do you think wins?

Not being argumentative, I think you are in the name of "PRESTIGE!!!!!", but just pointing out simple facts.

You are incorrect Mike. AC can be all in with promises and the prestige grade bumps him to VH vs high. And to answer your question, AC wins 70% of the time in that situation (in theory)
2/7/2017 9:52 PM
We're speaking different languages. Seton Hall, as a SIMAI school, CANNOT be all in. I'm assuming that the previous post saying SIMAI CANNOT issue promises is correct but, if that's so, SIMAI can NEVER be all in. So I have to believe AC was not all in.

If my logic is wrong, someone needs to use small words to explain it to me. Please.
2/7/2017 9:55 PM
IOW, I think AC could have improved his odds. Maybe I'm wrong. AC can tell us if he was all in. He's the only one that knows.
2/7/2017 9:57 PM
Either of you could be right. The sim can't tell us how many visits it performed. I would believe, if told, that AC went all in, and a team one full letter grade below could hold on in the low end of signing range, without promises. But that would require the sim to have maxed, or very nearly maxed all other visits, which would be interesting, because I haven't personally seen sims fight that hard.

Yes agree

I don't think you used small enough words.

I imagine preferences play a part but, if AC matched AP, offered 20 HV, a CV, guaranteed start and guaranteed minutes, wouldn't he have been able to knock off equal AP, 20 HC, CV from a prestige grade lower SIMAI?
2/8/2017 1:35 PM
Probably not.

Minutes and starts don't mean that much?
2/8/2017 2:09 PM
You assume Prestige means that much. (incorrectly IMO which is where our road forks)
2/8/2017 3:13 PM
No, I'm assuming starts and minutes are pretty damn big. Now that may be incorrect. Hence my 2:09 post.

They have a huge impact on the effort put in. I would like to say 15% but correct me if i'm wrong.
