Camps - Hosted, Public - or No Camps Topic

I do my hosted camp. I have not been doing the public camps because at high D1 I don't want to get a bunch of D2 players show up on my list.

I'll bite, what does "smoke screening" a roster mean? Why do you think you're difficult to game plan for?
In Call of Duty Their is a tactical call smokescreen is which I am referring to. I smoke screen my roster I only go after 2 positions in my camp and in play by play it shows all positions not just listed positions. Just more clicks you have to do against my team is all.
lol why would you assume anyone would strategize their recruiting around what recruits you look at??

2nd run thru scouting/ recruiting and still learning nuances of process. Looking for tips on most efficient scouting process (i read the pinned guide).
I only collect data on my hosted camp. I only pull players from my hosted camp. I don't collect data from public camp's. I like smoke screening my roster and making it more difficult to game plan around but that's just me.
WTF?
this is easy once you unlock the hide roster dropdown

;-)

I always do a hosted camp with the maximum number for D1 no matter what level I am at.

Hosted only.

The public camps are battle traps that show the same recruits to all coaches in attendance, so the quality recruits will be likely be targeted by a broad swath of human coaches who take the option. Don't take the bait to get sucked into a potential resource war against multiple humans. I am convinced he key to recruiting in 3.0 (ETA -- at D2 and D3) is to maximize the number of what I call "unique contacts" you have -- players you can see that no/few other human coaches at your level can. Minimize the human v. human encounters. You can outmaneuver any SimAI's that you hit through the regular recruiting process.
You gave me a great idea. Thank you.

No1 can look at your private camp or at least I don't think so. I don't think its strategize against recruiting more like game planning.

Its not a waste I think public camps are a waste and FSS is a useless tool.

We've seen your recruiting. You're not qualified to answer.

Source most of my guys are division 1 players?

And yet most D3 humans would still smash that team. Recruit projected level means a whole lot less than what kind of recruit it is.

But none ever will? I would see where a A+/A-/A could beat my team by a small margin but not by anything else.

Congratulations, genius. Yes, Division play restriction keeps you from the humiliation of being beatdown by D3 human schools. Your team sucks. Your recruits suck. Most of them wouldn't make a D3 roster. The prestige level of the school in D3 and D2 no longer really makes much difference since the recruits are no longer tiered by prestige during recruiting, so you can throw that out the window with the rest of your recruit "knowlwedge".

You're one of those I don't like 3.0 but lets moan and groan about the system and can't just let it be. Find myself one more person to block who ever you are!

3.0 has it's problems, but on the whole it's the most successful rollout WIS has ever managed in updating HD. I'm not moaning about anything, fool. I'm simply saying you are NOT qualified to advise people where to look for recruits or what recruits to be after because you have no clue yourself.
