How do SIMS recruit? Topic

I've read some conflicting things here. Do they put in all their effort early (as they did in 2.0)? Or is it spread out over a longer period of time?

Spread. They are like humans but don't really like to spend money

Thanks, Cub.

Pallas- they will continue to put in effort if it looks like they have a chance to win. Seble explained it during beta that if a SIM doesn't think they have a chance to win they will move on to another player. So it might be a good strategy to drive a SIM out right away so they don't continue to battle.

He never did explain how much of their budget they use or how they would use it or if they can run out of money. Nothing like that.

If I'm VH with a scholarship and all the SIMS are VL, would that constitute the SIM not thinking it can win?

Not positive but probably. There's probably some sort of formula to calculate out how far behind they are. Maybe it's represented in the VH vs VL difference and maybe not. I'd just keep my eye on it and if they start to creep up to L and then Mod then they are still putting in effort. If they stay at VL and don't offer scholly then they moved on.

Great, thanks, man.

I thought he did say that SIMS use their actual distance and not 199 miles like the old system. I also think they can run out of money but don't usually. I haven't a SIM that went "all in" yet. I don't even think I have found a sim that has put in more than like 5 HV's yet. Maybe 10 in D1.
