hahaha Spud is hilarious. He's the one with SECRET alt IDs which he refuses to reveal for NO REASON. Yet here he is accusing others of cheating.

Like he said, he's very up front with his alt IDs and everyone knows they are connected. Anyone can check what he's doing. Also, he has over 10 teams, so there is a reason for the Alt IDs. what's your excuse Spud?
Well, the OP did check on what he was doing. Sure looks like cheating. Your boy is a cheat. Accept it.
Detective Mike on the case!

Let's make it real simple for the dummies here ... 1 + 1 = 2.

1. While recruiting with one of my teams on a coast (I'm trying to be vague because I don't want to call out a specific coach) I was keeping my eye on a player as a possible back-up option. About a day into recruiting a d3 school from the other side of the country (2000+ miles) shows up on the recruit. The problem: the D3 school is coached by a well known (not secret) second ID of a guy who as a D1 school close to my team. The unnamed coach is cheating.

1. The coach turns out to be Only.

Of course some people will line up behind a cheater and say they're okay with it. Those people have their reason, and we know what that reason is. I don't expect to be surprised by anyone who lines up with Only.

And for the umteenth time, I have explained on the forums my reason for letting the CoachSpud screen name be flypaper for trolls and azzholes and keeping any other name relatively clear of trolls.

Michael- just because you're butthurt from only trolling you before, doesn't mean he was cheating. As the OP says, it looked suspicious. But you act like you caught him red handed.

Catching someone redhanded would be like having a secret ID and the team has high level players from the secret ID's state. This is not anywhere close to that.

Relax.

Spud that excuse for multiple SECRET alt IDs sucks. And you know it.

If that was your reason. Why not just have 1 troll ID (Spud) and then 1 secret ID (l80r20). Why have multiple secret IDs. You're a liar.

Sorry, I forgot being in the position to cheat automatically makes one a cheater.

Guess I should do a better job cheating to sign players I don't go and try to replace... I'll have to aim higher next time then

I really hope you guys don't find my secret account I used to cheat my way to 35-0 in Crum D2
games should be run in ways that dont make it easy to cheat - in 3.0 it is now too easy with two teams in a world, in my opinion

proving actual cheating is hard - that is why you design games to avoid making it easy to cheat

two teams, separated by 1000 miles was okay in 2.0. I dont think any more

I've read the fair play guidelines and only hasn't doesn't anything that would indicate cheating. His teams are at least 1,000 miles apart. It may be frowned upon, but most definitely not cheating. Sorry folks, nothing to see here, move along.
I disagree. I mean, he benefits from his alt also. I saw theOnly and Viva as recruiters for one of his winning team. I have two D2 teams ready for big six. They are good almost always, I get an alt, move to D3, then go D1 on my D2 and D2 on my D3. I don't miss a beat.

Second, perception is reality. He sees many more recruits at D1 and he can use that info for his D3 team where scouting money is slim. I am not saying he cheated, not really into name calling but it poses an ethical problem.

Hey Aunt Fannie, who appointed you the forum Den Mother? And BTW, the subject of the thread is about the cheater that was exposed in the OP. Your boy got outed. Accept it.

Sure Spud.

The subject of the thread is about cheating in general and what should be allowed.

You have secret IDs that you REFUSE to name. And then when you get caught you using it, you lie about it. Seriously? How hard is it for you to understand? That looks pretty damn suspicious to me and anyone else. You are more likely to cheat than anyone else who has a well known alt ID because no one knows what you're doing. There should be no secret alt IDs. None. BUT, it's not against the rules technically so you're allowed to do it. Just like it's not against the rules to have multiple IDs in one world. It probably shouldn't be allowed but it is.

And Only outed himself in case you missed it. He didn't need to post and say "hey, he's talking about me" but he did because he didn't cheat and wanted to clear it up. Pretty open and shut case Watson.

It was clear but they need to change the rule.

I think they should change the rule that you can't have more than 1 ID in a world so you don't have finger pointing and accusations on something that may or may not have happened. It's pointless to say someone cheated when there is very little evidence of it. The only thing that you do know for sure is that he has two IDs in a world and it currently isn't against the rules.

And then have a rule that all your IDs are linked so you know which teams you have and what worlds you are in.

Shocker. Benis the Hypocrite lines up to support his boy.

He cheated. He got caught. Plain and simple.

Hell, he may have other aliases he uses to cheat.

Well I guess there is no better time to admit that I also play under the alternative ID's of coachspud and coachward.

Not sure how you can "get caught" when you have "well known" IDs (pimans words).

Guess its guilty before proven innocent around here.
