He didn't admit it then. But, to be fair, the "r2d2" or whatever it was, wasn't in the spud's world.

Here are the fairplay guidelines. The thing to realize is that, according to these rules, you can "collude" with yourself! [notice: "or attempted by a single user".] So, from admin's perspective, it does not matter whether two ids are controlled by one user or two. Sharing information with yourself under two usernames is "collusion" and the accounts may be punished.

The second issue to note is that WIS has been perfectly clear that it is not monitoring this on the front end; only after someone complains. I encourage everyone to narc on themselves! [Also, read Philip K. Dick's Through a Scanner Darkly....fun read.] The 1,000 mile rule was not invented to make any sense from the user's perspective, but only for administrative convenience of the admin! Complaint made...reviewed...one individual controls two usernames with teams within 1000 miles or the same conference...they lose....no further time needed in review. If the 1,000 mile/same conference rule is complied with, then admin has to waste more time reviewing...

I imagine there is a problem reviewing this for siblings, father/son, frat boys, etc. that might legitimately use 1 IP address. However, I think everyone would appreciate it if WIS made it a lot harder to have multiple teams in a world anyway.

First, anything that ****** off a bunch of people will get spud on that side of the fence. It's who he is, it's what he does. But that doesn't mean that side is wrong. The vast majority of the folks who post, not EVERYONE who plays HD, line up. Maybe it's years of glad-handing one another over every subject. Maybe they've managed to shout down any dissenting voice. But, any way you slice it, it's largely a group think. I've been told this by long-time users.

Second, you're ridiculously predictable. I learned this with "Them's the breaks". If it's one of your old school buddies, you're jumping to their defense. If you're not familiar with them and they express a concern, it's "Them's the breaks." If piman had suggested it was me/poiuyt(my other username), you would NOT have said "We need more evidence."

I am reasonable. I am sensible. But this forum, and the predictability of not just you but the general forum, is not going to bring that out. I'd rather watch the collective get their panties bunched. And, in this case, I'm right. Only's move was very suspicious. Not just the location but the timing of his D3 team's first appearance on the recruit. And the collective lined up to say "I don't think he cheated" or "No FPG were broken" or "You can't share information with yourself" or "If there's no punishment, there's no cheating" or whatever else excuse could be made for the recruiting oddity. It's ridiculous.

Now see what you did? You made me makes a long post in an attempt to prove I'm being reasonable and sensible. Jerk.
Too long, didn't read.

Yep Spud is a multi ID cheater. In fact he wouldn't even admit to having the other IDs until he was caught. No other reason to deny it so much when it was such a lie. Definite cheater.
Fair is fair, all you guys with such big mouths. Here's your chance to prove you know what you're talking about. Here's your chance to prove that you aren't in violation of forum guidelines calling someone a cheater.

FILL IN THE BLANK: The name of the world where Spud controls two teams is ___________ .

Your buddy bevis failed, how about you?
Edited to list other guys who failed this SIMPLE test so far: ...mully ... emy ... wiz ... anyone else care to try?

Fill in the blank? I feel like I'm back in 3rd grade again. Why don't you provide us with multiple choice?

As in most cases, long threads get derailed. Smart people stop paying attention about 3-4 pages in. Only dumbasses like myself stay there.

The point, the entire point of this thread, is to lay out the culture of HD. It seems that exploiting "loopholes" is acceptable. No one wants to upset another user even if they think the other guy might be using said "loopholes" to gain an advantage. So people need to understand they're not a level playing field. And, maybe, just maybe, WifS will take note. Trust me, a ticket will be sent. I think it's insane that people can bend the rules, because they're not explicitly saying "Don't do this" and other users just shake their head or turn a blind eye.

I read your long post. You're reasonable. Others aren't afforded the same because they've proven not to be.
While I'm sure most don't care, they did respond to the ticket. They asked me to explain how the "1000 mile loophole" could work and to link the threads I referenced. Which I've done. We'll see if anything comes of it.

So how could it work Mike? I doubt it will work as intended... I think the best way is a team by world, which is pretty darn reasonable.

How does it work? You scout players locally with two teams and then recruit across the country without scouting past L1.
