I'm a Republican. I voted against Obama twice. I'm not arguing for or against any specific president or party, I'm arguing against stupidity. As a highly educated Republican it's getting harder and harder to convince the other people I work with that the Republican party represents a defensible alternative. Realistically they no longer represent any of the fiscal conservatism I believe in. This has been a problem since Reagan got the party so deeply into bed with the military complex. So much of the Republican rhetoric at this point is based on distraction and misdirection. There is virtually no chance of abortion becoming illegal in this country any time in the foreseeable future, but it's still such an important voting issue that it's hard to see Republicans holding a house of Congress or the White House without it. That's absurd.
For the record, I'm not proud of any recent spending by Republicans either. I'm just plain tired of the Obama lovers spouting off against the Republicans like everything is their fault. "Gee, I wonder how much those 59 cruise missiles cost?" BigFnnDeal! Like Obama didn't waste any money by not taking ISIS out right away? How much more has it cost us by NOT doing something against them immediately? There just a JV Team! What is it going to cost us going forward by not enforcing the "RED LINE" that he warned Assad not to cross and then did nothing. What is going to happen with North Korea and Kim Jong-un and his radical behavior. Obama should have done more there. His foreign policy was terrible. Was he handed a clean plate, no, but IMO he did little to nothing to improve anything.
If you want to argue against stupidity start by being respectable. Your derogatory innuendos of stupidity directed towards me are hardly impressive or necessary. I'm done playing in the mud puddle with you.
