EEs toned down? Topic

Unless I am reading this incorrectly, or maybe this is average, but there were only 17 EEs this year in Smith. It seems like normally there are more than that, or maybe I just notice them more because I usually get hit with one or two.

Chapel- what's the prestige boost for an EE or drafted player? Any idea?

haha, I just posted about this on my conference's chat...I've never really kept track of it but I looked and 17 seemed like a low number to me too. It could just be an abnormal season but I wonder if they changed something in the logic.

I had always thought EE's were closer to 25-30.

keep in mind, it could also be that users are behaving differently - maybe folks are somehow on average bringing along more 4 year players - getting them more playing time and improvement to the point where they get drafted ahead of some otherwise EEs?

I know that I now try to recruit some players who I think will stay for four seasons and improve

its a dynamic system

Or a "down" class as suggested when zorzi asked if enough recruits were being generated. IMO, if WifS made an EE change, they'd have trumpeted it in the forums as "EE PROBLEMS!!!" dominated this forum for 3-4 months.

62 total underclassmen on the big board

10 left "likely going" (out of 12)

4 left "on the fence" (out of 27)

1 left "likely staying" (out of 19)

0 left "staying" (out of 4)

2 left not on big board - WHY??? More than the 23 combined "likely staying" and "staying" guys listed. Even if they want to do nothing else to fix the EE process, they should change it so if a guy isn't on the big board they don't leave, period. At least if they are on the board you can try to plan for potential EE's during the 1st session.

no doubt someone - not me - has data on this for several seasons in several worlds.....

Was trying not to start an argument but, since you asked.....

It appears that EE were down 30-50% in Smith this season. Yet, somehow, you figured out something to ***** about. Really?

I can't thing of a single reason why ADMIN isn't more active in these forums. It's such a nice place to be.

He's saying that guys leaving that aren't on the big board is dumb. That's all.

Thanks for coming to his rescue and pointing out the obvious, Captain Obvious.

And I'm saying that EE was down 30-50% and he still managed to find something to ***** about. With all credit due, he had to work to find it. It wasn't right there for the ********. So hard work pays off.

Whether it's dumb or not, it's akin to being given free beer then complaining that the temp was 2 degrees higher than standard.

It'd be like if a coworker offers to buy the next round and comes back with a pitcher of Milwaukee's Best Light. On the one hand I'm not gonna complain because it's free beer. But on the other hand it'd be a little confusing and disappointing that a grown man with a job chose to buy Beast.

That's fair. But this is key: "I'm not gonna complain..."

sf36 had a handful of guys on the BB. He probably benefited from the small class(I, admittedly, did no research beyond looking at the BB).
