It was just a weird time to *****. Something good happened. Don't drag it down because something better could have happened. 90% of the gripes are "Nothing is changing!!!!"

does anyone know that anything changed in the game - or could this be a random fluctuation? a result of user actions? or maybe the result of a change elsewhere in the game and not a direct change in EE behavior????

well, 4 EEs after my ignominious loss to the 16 seed, including a "likely staying." this was the max i could lose based on what i had open.

the ones on the board:
#22 on the fence - EE
#30 on the fence - EE
#46 staying - stayed
#66 on the fence - EE
#77 on the fence - stayed
#99 likely staying - EE

was really hoping to catch a break but did not, so from my little sample, certainly doesn't seem that EEs were toned down. i counted 26 overall from the news in Tark. not sure how this compares to past season.

It's not toned down. It's random and you got unlucky.

u had 6 seniors u cant have a EE easily explained , not sure how this is unknown to most.

I had an EE drafted and a Senior drafted. Both in 2nd Round. Prestige went from B to B+ which I think is pretty solid. I'll take it!

i think it varies so much based on the individual situation that's it's pretty hard to quantify the boost in a useful way. i've had multiple players drafted at Cornell the last couple seasons but have been stuck at B prestige for a long time there despite making the NT every season and several NT wins. i think i'm weighted down by baseline prestige and a weak conference there, so much that the draft picks don't move the needle much. but in other situations a single draft pick has boosted me a partial grade. it also depends how close you are to the next grade.

That is a really solid class for a low major school. Bowers is awesome.

I am interested in why you recruited 3 defense/rebounding posts in the same class. Did you just not find any posts with offensive upside, or do you just much prefer that type of guy?

I know, that's the biggest thing I don't like about this class- lack of LP. I got Skinner in the first session and had my eye on a couple other bigs who were very similar to him but with high LP. But I wanted to sign some of the big dogs and saw Keefer, Scribner and another top 100 guy who did have some LP. At the start of the 2nd session, I wanted to go after that third guy but I didn't have actions unlocked yet and didn't want to risk it. So I went for Keefer and Scribner even though neither would score. They were just so much better than those other bigs in ath/reb/def that had the LP.

I do have a SO post guy with 62 green LP, so I should be able to get a little offense from him though.

But yeah, I'll have to rely on guards to score for me.

On another note- I'm not sure how I feel about New Mexico as a recruiting location. There isn't a TON of competition like there would be on the East Coast but there also isn't a lot of talent close by. I think there was only 1 or 2 top 100 guys within 500 miles.
