So, correct me if I'm wrong, isn't D3 just first come, first served when applying? IOW, does the last 10 seasons matter?

I think it's really unfortunate but why not move to Incarnate Word? Check D2 Beach, lots of opportunities

Yeah it's pretty obvious that your resume is a lot better. The other coach wasn't even active in Iba for the past 5 seasons.

That sucks. No way you should have got beaten out.

"I will not vote. I missed out on renewal (I haven't been getting work and thought I had until Saturday, the NT happened on Wednesday"

Let me be THAT guy. You have over a month to renew. The responsibility is on you, not the site to make sure you renew teams any ANY point over the ~two month season.
This is about personal accountability and blaming others when the real fault is your own. No matter what other screwed up mechanic is in this game, it comes down to this.

I just voted in the poll and then the poll disappeared. Why is that?
5/13/2017 10:06 AM
OK. MikeT's comment above is interesting but I don't think it is correct. I applied to Palm Beach Atlantic a few weeks ago with a DI/DII resume and got beat out by another coach with a better resume. I don't think DIII is first come, first served...but I'm just guessing.

With that said, if resume does matter and beachhouse was in competition with the coach who actually got the job, beach's resume is clearly superior.

Perhaps at top tier D3 programs, it isn't FC,FS. I know, when I applied for WCSU, I was assigned WCSU. I think immediately. It's worked that way for our entire HBD group applying at D3s in various worlds.

Or perhaps it is and the other coach applied for Cornell first.

You're describing signing up during the new coach sign up period. It's different during the job period.

I actually haven't been getting work all month for what it's worth. I went back to school, I am in debt. Maybe this was a blessing. I won't spend my 18 dollars per team any longer. Yes 18. The conversion rate is that bad here.
Where do you live? Iba DII is stacked!

Correct. I'm just having trouble believing there's a difference because everyone is qualified for every job at D3.

I'm pretty sure same job logic applies. I remember some people trying to get the best location D3 jobs (Colorado, PBAU) and getting beat out for it. Sometimes by someone who drops down from D1.

**** this site.

how the **** did I lose Cornell in IBA. You pieces of **** at customer service owe me an explanation.

236 wins 7 NT appearances. 1 championship game; 1 final four, three sweet sixteens.

189 wins, 3 teams. 4 NT. 1 Elite eight, 1 sweet sixteen.

Admit that 10 years isn't job logic. I was with the same team the entire ten seasons

This team was the first one I took with this ID. I played in season one of HD and returned after a hiatus. I dropped my teams and kept Cornell. It was the only team I actually cared to keep in this absolutely wretched and poorly run simulation site.

I missed out on renewal (I haven't been getting work and thought I had until Saturday, the NT happened on Wednesday. I freaked out early Friday morning and e-deposited my check immediately and sent customer service a message at 2:18am. I bought a season and they could have easily added a season to the team as the application process doesn't start until 3am. They did not and I applied the second I woke up corresponded with them.

I want a proper explanation. Do not tell me that experience was the factor because that is a crock of ****. There are a handful of owners who have done more than I have in IBA in D3 during the last 10 season span and I like the guy who took the team, but he definitely didn't deserve to piggy back on my time and money and wasn't even active in the world for 4 seasons. He was even in my conference and could not beat me. This is not an owner that is better or more qualified than myself.
Maybe resigning from a job triggers some kind of negative when you competitively reapply for it. That would make sense.

I've sent a ticket. We just don't know who applied first in those instances either.
