And, technically, we should. But we don't because it's not practical . We KNOW SIMAI will not put in the same effort as we do. So we recruit accordingly. IMO, there are two options: 1. Fix this damn issue. 2. MAKE us treat SIMAI the same by upping SIMAI's recruit game.

One fix, I'm sure, is much easier than the other.

Yes, but you'd have to treat all SIMAI the same. Doesn't matter if it's displayed Alabama or not displayed Seton Hall. Presumably both could put in the same "human-like" effort.

I see your point and agree to a point. If you run into the same human coach and can kinda figure how he recruits that helps you make informed decisions but if you don't even know he's on the list. Kinda takes out the strategy and now we are back to either you let him go or you go all in.
they already short for vh-h-m-l-vl.
can't be to hard to sort if "coach" doesn't= simai then put them on the top of the list of the VL.

I'd prefer they just list all. Re-programming so SIMAI might recruit like a human is a massive overhaul. And that overhaul would be hugely unpopular because it would turn recruiting on it's head.

likewise agree - a simple fix might actually happen - and would not have unintended effects.

tinkering with SIM recruiting big job and could have bad ripple effects

My breaking point may sound stupid to most but it's such an easy fix for WIS and was talked about in beta but they haven't done anything to fix it.
The considering list being limited to 10 and it being alphabetical is just stupid and I just lost my main recruit on two different teams but this happens. Because I can't see a human coach with a team that starts with lower alphabet name is just stupid. Human coaches should be first. All was very low I guess he had to be on the list but couldn't see him because he went very high and signed same cycle.
It's hard to recruit if you don't know there is a human on the list.

I was so worried that A+ Utah was on all of my stud recruits at Weber St. I would use the word, "paranoid."

Edit-I wasn't worried about Colorado though. So dumb.

cmac, I have submitted tickets 3 times on this issue without success. I lost a recruit the same way that looked like he was not being pursued. I have discovered I can happily play this game as it stands unless I lose another recruit that way. I will be gone the moment it happens again. Should take about 30 seconds to fix.

And I am at W. Va. I took a player I'm sure the other coach had no idea I was on. Just as patently unfair.

I've done it too. I knew it was giving me a huge advantage but it didn't stop me since its apparently what Seble would have wanted to happen since he 'programmed it that way'.

Not a hard fix. Just get on with it.

Had it happen couple times already. And no i don't blame the other coach. Fact is if i knew he was there i would have moved on.
i hope they do fix it.
