I take issue with HOW Trump fired Comey, and the timing, not because he did fire him. He should have been crystal clear as to why, and just said so.

As to collusion, we have heard that Trump isn't a specific target of the investigation. Comey admitted that Trump hasn't interfered. Intel chiefs said the same. Trump was said to be ok with the investigation continuing on his team.

His handling of Flynn was botched. He did suggest to Comey to go lightly. Meddling? Yes. More than that? Decide for yourself.

Now if Mueller finds the there there, it is a new ballgame...until then it appears that much is overblown, and quite unfairly. Kick and scream, but those calling for a noose lack sufficient evidence.

Trump is his own worst enemy. He and his communications team really need to get their act together when making public statements. When he goofs he makes problems for himself. Is constantly in retreat, having to put out fires. Get it right the first time, Donald.

The House decides if the charges should be referred to the Senate for an impeachment "trial". In Clinton's case they did that. In the case of Nixon he was informed by senior party members that he was certain to be impeached, so he resigned.

And managed to keep it secret? Nobody in the intelligence community has it? Nobody leaked it?

FBI said he wasn't a target of investigation. ..The NYT started that. The February story was false, according to Comey.

Intel has been looking into the Russian involvement for a year now. They may yet stumble onto something, but we have yet to see a smoking gun.

Is why I don't think impeachment talk is fair at this point.

It is quite common for incoming administration officials to have contact with foreign ambassadors. It certainly isn't illegal.

Mueller will figure out if Page, Manafort or Kushner did anything heinous. But it doesn't look like Trump conspired with Putin. His public statements were that he would give Putin a chance to play fair. The hype turned it into a bromance.

Bush 43 and Obama did similar. They achieved little with Putin, but they did try.
