The Religious Right doesn't think any of those things. No idea what percentage of the population that is but they are loud.
The religious right is not "most people."
It's "enough people" that they should be heard.

Lol. Trump asks his cabinet to go around in a circle and compliment him today. Cant wait to see the video of this.
6/12/2017 3:52 PM
Every citizen SHOULD be heard. But, as mentioned above.........THEY are loud. Doesn't mean they're right, just LOUD.

It's why they like Trump (It CERTAINLY ain't his MORALS!) They and He are BULLY's!

Believe my way, or you're going to hell........ and I judge you immoral and unfit. That's the way they think.
Shallow and Stupid!

It's a tough nut to crack............. like taking a horse to water and watching while they refuse......... wait a minute......... no horse I ever met was THAT dumb!

The Religious Right doesn't believe in any of those definitions of "liberty", you are correct sir. That's WHY THEY are the problem.

They're trying to subvert the constitution and use plurality democracy to insist that EVERYBODY (all beliefs!, and non believers, too!) MUST abide by THEIR interpretation of morality and they're attempting to take away constitutionally guaranteed FREEDOMS from others whom they fear (for a variety of reasons)!! They want all to believe THEIR way!... in THEIR GOD. They're religious fanatics. Self declared!

Life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness, remember?
Why some fear (for just one example) gay people being aloud to marry is beyond me. It would seem that commitment would be desired.
Also, they can't breed (without help!) so what's the big deal?......... they can't spread gayness through some sort of weird genealogy beliefs.

It's just another example of why fanaticism MUST be condemned and not tolerated. From any religious nut! Every persuasion.
Not understanding what the basic freedoms (freedom of religion!) guaranteed ALL under our Constitution just reveals the underlying problem that the religious right and their cohorts have................

It's called ignorance--------------- but willful ignorance I believe I'm free to call what it is.
Stupidity!

Do you realize that this also describes the liberal left in this country to a T?

Calling people shallow and stupid isn't a way to get THEM to listen to YOU.

I thought the left was inclusive.
They are, unless you have beliefs that go against their agenda.

I'm pretty sure the religious right gets heard. Doesn't change the fact that most people don't view things like gay marriage as a bad thing.

Let's compare the left and the right on gay marriage, since that's an example laramie uses.

The left says let the gays get married, it doesn't hurt anyone else.

The right says no way, that's against my religion.

Who's insisting that someone else live by their morality here?

The libs who say you can't pray in school.

and when it was convenient Obama said he was from Kenya
I saw and read (and posted it in the PIT) the pamphlet Obama was in along with other teachers and staff at the university. The one where he says he was born in Kenya. He probably got a free ride for lying about where he was born. Typical lib liar.

Are there any examples where the left tries to force their POV on people? Like maybe gun ownership and prayer. Hell, Baby Jesus scenes are removed from public places for fear of insulting someone.

Yes I do........... or at least it has at times.

Just calling someone a "lib" or "left" because they have a differing view doesn't make it accurate........ it can be wrong..........a Fake fact.

I never said I was left (of center)......... never was, ain't now. Likely never will be.......... unless they end up the only sane choice left.
I can't support despots or fascists............. I didn't name any names!

To be honest, I'd say that anyone who worked for three presidents did more than his fair share of lying just to keep his job.
James Schlesinger, Robert Mueller and Richard Armitage worked under multiple administrations. Are they liars too?
Probably. Sycophants at least.

I suppose it depends on whether you think bootlicking sycophants are "liars". If you tell everyone "You're the greatest boss/leader/president ever!", are you a liar? Because I guarantee they all believe you...
We're they bootlickers in your opinion?
