It's stupid to oppose SSM because it has exactly zero impact on you if you are not gay. Just like it's stupid to oppose interracial marriage or what time your neighbor decides to go to sleep at night.
It is not stupid to oppose gun control, abortion, drug legalization.
Are you under the impression that all issues have equally valid arguments on both sides? Can you imagine a topic where it would be clearly stupid to publicly voice a certain opinion?
First, I'm going to disagree with your view on SSM. If one has a religious belief that homosexuality is a sin, that is what they believe. It's an affront to their way of life. That's just the way it is and it's not your place to judge. You don't have to agree but your disagreement does NOT make their opinion "stupid".
Second, IMO, my statement can easily be applied to abortion. If you feel a human life is being taken, that's how you feel. It is not invalidated by my opinion or anyone else's. Gun ownership and use of drugs are personal liberties that are certainly on a smaller scale than any sort of religious belief opinion. I think you know this.
That's a bit of a silly question. "Is rape OK? Yes, of course" is a tough argument to make. And stating that it is publicly is a pretty stupid thing to do.

Some people believe that interracial marriage is a sin. It's an affront to their way of life. You can believe whatever you want. But if you choose to voice that opinion publicly, everyone else gets to voice their opinion of you publicly.

I think there is a reasonable argument for being against abortion based on the idea that you're protecting a life. I disagree with it, but I wouldn't call someone stupid for voicing that opinion.

Right. There was a time in the not too distant past that things like racism and rape were not looked at by society as terrible things. Lucky for us, we've moved to a point where when people who hold certain opinions express those opinions publicly, other people react accordingly. Which is why tec was "viciously attacked" for stating that he is against SSM. He's free to believe whatever he wants but when he decides to make that belief public, other people get to express their opinions of his belief.

I imagine some do. And I imagine I'll pull up short of calling their opinion "stupid". They have a reason to believe what they believe. The simple fact that I disagree with a viewpoint does not make the other side "stupid". The same applies to you.

I know this will come as a shock to you but, just because you think an opinion is reasonable, it doesn't mean any other opinion is "unreasonable". Apply that to the above.

But is it "stupid" to have that opinion? Because I'm sure you know that you stated it was.
