This President and his Twitter account are one and the same. That's why people care. He's an Internet troll who "governs" (if that's what you want to call it) with his tweets. It's not a side issue with Trump; it's the entire issue. Taking away Trump's Twitter account would be like removing Scooby Doo's ability to speak. It's what makes them what they are.

By the way, did you read the WaPo article I linked, or is it too long to read? I'm curious what your take on it is. Is there anything there you disagree with? And I apologize for using the words "crushed Trump." I should have written "responded to Trump" and let people decide on their own how successful their response was.

Actually, I didn't read it, specifically because it said "X crushed Y on Twitter" and that means it's clickbait.

let me make this simple and rational comment...if any other president including nixon issued the mika tweet the country as a whole would question whether or not the president suffered a nervous breakdown...i have recommended to my congressman that he make a declarative statement into the record that the tweet calls into question the fitness of the president...it would be great if he would actually do it.

If any other President, including Nixon, had been subject to slanderous witch-hunt after slanderous witch-hunt, the Country as a whole would have questioned whether or not the witch-hunters suffered from mental illness. Everyone knows that our President and Country deserve much more respect. I should probably have my Congressman look into all the slanderous anti-American posts on this site. It would be hilarious to see these blow-hard Liberals trying to lie and fabricate their way through an explanation.

He's obviously unfit, in myriad ways. The backlash on the Mika and Joe tweets surprises me a bit because it's not really different or worse from a lot of other stuff he's said and done. Plus, Mike and Joe are not very sympathetic characters. They were more than willing to help Trump out with softball interviews when he was a candidate. They're pretty lousy representatives of the news media, in my opinion.

It still hasn't happened. Trump's annoying, stupid, self-destructive tweets AREN'T actions. They're annoying, stupid, self-destructive thought bubbles that he's intemperate enough to write for posterity. Yes, it's chest-beating to the extreme, but the point is the liberals act like every tweet is a play-by-play of his every move, when it's just his Id blathering.

It's the President saying what he'd like to do. Whether he says this in a tweet or a speech or an interview with Sean Hannity, it's still the President saying what he'd like to do. And the President saying what he'd like to do is indeed a "move."
