Preventing player to get to tiring, tired Topic

At press, It seems tough to find a rotation that will prevent having tiring, tired or even very tired players on the court. Anyone found the perfect rotation? I mostly have 11 players available.

Well, only having 11 players is part of the problem. You can roll with 11 if you have multiple guys with 90+ stamina. Even when you're 12 deep your overall team stamina needs to be in the high 70s (lower 80s is better). Last, finding bigs with 85+ stamina really helps, otherwise you need at least 5 bigs on your roster at all times.

Are all of your players at Fairly Fresh? I'm in my first season playing FB/FCP and I've had to put a few players (including backups) at Getting Tired. I figure having a few players play brief moments at Tiring is better than risking a starter playing at Tired or Very Tired. I also have filled out all 20 depth chart spots.

Take my experience with a grain of salt since it's my first season in this system, but I haven't had any issues with Tired players.

Which team are you referring to? If I have time tonigjt I'll take a look and offer more specific thoughts.

I just run fairly fresh with a starter and a backup at every position. Backup at 1-2-3 or 3-4-5. Let's say that the 11th guy is the backup 3-4-5 in this case. Then backup 2 is third string 1 and backup 3 is third string 2.

Your starting SG/SF have staminas of 67 and 68, respectively. Problem solved.

Those guys are pretty good players (minus their staminas). You just need to make sure you don't have two starters with sub 75 stamina when running press otherwise they're going to get tired, plain and simple.

I used to pay extremely close attention to how jsajsa built his teams when he ran press at D3, as he was probably the best D3 coach to ever play this game. His teams always had team staminas in the high 70's to start and the only time he would R/S a kid was when that kid was gonna be an absolute D3 monster, and even then if he thought it hurt his rotation for a year he'd be hesitant to do it.

The other problem is the press fastbreak combo! Either/ or is fine but both will really suck up your stamina.
