No, there is nothing going on unless you only go for the d3 pool at d3 and d2 at d2... cap, let us play first session. Thanks
I do a lot of recruiting first session at D2. Just because players don't sign doesn't mean you have nothing to do.

I don't think that's true. SOME do that. Of course.

But I think most people make suggestions because they think the game is better that way.

you just did it a few minutes ago talking about downtime and how its better for Mr Noob.

I think most do that.

I've long been an advocate for "good for the game" even when it hurts me. Well, in HBD, I'm not 100% positive what's good/bad for the game/me in HD. I do believe forcing n00bs to battle vets for recruits is very bad for the game. So, "capping" isn't a solution in and of itself to anything. It creates a whole new set of issues.

Ditto with my alma mater UTSA. I never made it to the s16 in 2.0. I just did last season in knight.

Since this is becoming a complaint thread, downtime is the greatest need. Lost Round 1 in CT in Rupp. I need to check back in on 7/26. Yay.
Join a 2 a day world instead. That's what you signed up for, a long downtime is inevitable when you lose at the earliest possible time in the postseason. Downtime isn't the problem, you're just impatient. Your season is over and you will have to wait for the rest of the teams to finish their post season. Maybe WIS can implement a Frogger mini game in HD for you to play while the big boys game plan for the NT.
It's not really for me. I have a 2nd team that's just starting conference play. I have 3 HBD teams, one is in the NLCS, one is in ST and the other is waiting for a couple of owners. I've got plenty of WifS-related activity.

My complaint is for the one team guy. The guy who just dipped his toes into the water to see if it was warm enough to swim. He played for 30someodd days, maybe he's undecided, and now gets to wait 13 days. If he's already renewed.

With nothing to do, I can forget anything in two weeks.

So there.
This is one of only 2 topics that mike and I agree on. Downtime doesn't really do the game any favors in retaining new users.
Shockingly enough, I'm 100% with Mike on this one as well. There's way too much downtime after the season, even if you go deep into the NT -- for both 1 and 2 day worlds.

Sure that's your opinion. You can think that.

but just because someone doesn't agree with you doesnt mean they are just looking out for #1.

As for the rest of 3.0, there are several refinements needed at DI. Too bad seble's beta is apparently going to be all we get. Then again, I think I'm one of the few people who liked 2.0 better who's still around playing out the credit string.

I'll put it this way. If I'm fighting Chuck Liddell, I want to fight on a football field. That way, when he's whooping my ***, I can get away. If I'm fighting a 9 y/o, tie us together so I can beat that little bastard's *** quickly.

Shrinking the recruit pool by capping ties the 9 y/o to Liddell. Vets will destroy n00bs in close quarter recruiting.

There's probably more than a few, john. I think 2.0 was a superior game, especially in DII and DIII.

I prefer 2.0 as well John. Agree on the downtime.

Yeah I know you think that would happen. I'm not as worried about it

D3 populations are around 60-80 teams right now (and decreasing every season). So

1) A year ago we had nearly double that number of teams and I don't remember people complaining that noobs were getting beat down in recruiting battles or that was deterring them from playing the game. The player pool size is plenty big enough.

2) What noobs? I'm looking at Iba D3 right now and there are currently TWO people on their first season and TWO more on their 2nd season. The noob is a dying breed.

You have had the best views since this launch and I think WIS should listen to you.
7/13/2017 3:39 PM
Benis' views are the best! I think that most users like recruiting DI more in 3.0 and DII and DIII less.
7/13/2017 3:43 PM
I only had to give them each 1 free season to say that. Worth every penny.
