Another thing with 2.0...

D-3 teams with higher prestige had access to more D-2 recruits. So A-prestige Delaware Valley could actually recruit a kid who had told me at C-prestige Albertus Magnus to go f-ck myself.

So if nothing else comes from my posts here, please understand that in 2.0 the talent gaps between D-3 was freakin enormous. Look up past rosters and see for yourself.
Just so you know, I think mfnmyers can't win anymore. I am not sure he still plays. He never had a D1 team, he has freak athlètes...

He's changed his strategy. He doesn't just go for all ath/def anymore. They are a little more balanced. Probably because now most good teams can get 60 avg ath/def.

About mfn, I think he used no money on scouting in 2.0. Just recruited the best Ath/De guys.

It makes sense. quicker seasons means higher turnover of people.

Or that newer users just aren't ready to jump in with both feet into two a days.

Only 1 FF across 10 teams in 3.0....

I have absolutely nothing against the guy but his teams aren't NEARLY as good as they used to be.

Well, yeah, he's learning the new system, he's said so in CC. There's a huge difference in he can't win, he quit and he's not nearly as good as he used to be.

Crum Dickinson - Season 68.
Finished 22-11.
Elite-8.
Player - ATH - DEF.
Peterson 80-98.
Jacob 84-78.
Reed 77-82.
Johnson 71-88.
Horn 87-98.
Duff 96-98.
Goodson 79-74.
If this isn't considered a top level team in any era and at any level, then tu-salut. But they only made the Elite-8, and had 11 losses.

Yeah that's fair. But he was an elite coach before so its pretty noticeable how much he's dropped off. For whatever reason. Its just a big difference.
