Not exactly unbeatable.
He's not exactly playing all home games vs. Blind Sisters of the Poor.

Well, no, but I think zorzii was declaring him National Champs a few weeks ago.

of course cant know that - what one can know is that those players are and will be way better than they would have been without the use of the glitch.

Disappointed that support - apparently - decided not to even try to mitigate the effects. It's their game.

There's a reasonable argument to be made that WIS should reopen the loophole so everyone can take advantage of it, if WIS isn't going to clean up the existing, relatively small mess.

I still don't think I'd use it, but I wouldn't blame others for feeling entitled to a fairness bump.

I'm not sure that's reasonable. There aren't many, I wouldn't think, who'd find joy in "redshirt/remove redshirt" for hours on end.

Like wizard, I don't play to make friends. Like wizard, I play to win games. Unlike wizard, I ain't doing that.

It's an outright lousy idea, but it's arguably better than WIS hiding under their desks until customers get tired of complaining.

I've been around 14-15 years and this has been the worst handling of an issue in that time. At least with the whole tdowdy hacked account thing, they communicated. This was 3 days of "Tell us who did it", delete the threads and then silence. Really brutal and that's coming from a CS apologist.

I feel the same way.

I'm dropping this after today, since it's clear I'm asking a vacant desk for help at this point, but it's truly sad how this was handled. This should have been a very minor issue.

is there a single person out there defending WIS at this point, aside from the player directly involved in the bug? seems like we finally found an issue everyone agreed on. amazing!

thewizard has announced his imminent retirement, so I thought this would be a good time to bump this thread from one year ago.

Remember when WIS committed to a public resolution of this issue, then gaslighted us by deleting the evidence? Pepperidge Farm remembers.

Wow, it's been a year since the wizard became the chizard.

I laughed so hard at "Pepperidge Farm remembers".

- WE glitch
- WE glitch used
- WE glitch abused
- Complaints
- Denials
- Loopholes
- Closed loopholes
- Empty promises
- Complaints
- Silence

Did I miss any?
I knew about the glitch and the claim that they fixed it. What does that have to do with Clemson and kcsundevil?
I was a regular poster in a WIS Support thread on this issue. Benis contributed a few posts about Spud. I asked him to stop since Spud-talk might cause WIS to delete the thread. Shortly thereafter, thread was deleted. (I think it was because they were gonna kill it at 200 posts no matter what, not Benis's fault.)
I saw this thread pop up and couldn't remember at all why I created it.

But some great stuff in here. Just made me sad that MikeT is gone...
