That's dumb. Congress isn't subsidized. They qualify for the individual market because they don't have an employer healthcare plan.

But, because other federal employees get a portion of their health insurance paid for by their employer, congress and their staffers also get a portion of their healthcare paid by their employer.
Who pays for the healthcare of Congressional members, House and Senate, and their staffs?

And Trump will take away that portion!!! He'll be a hero!!!

It'll be a better plan if congressmen have to abide by the same rules as everyone else. Watch that light a fire under their ***** to fix healthcare.

Why is that good?

Congress and staff, like all federal employees, gets a portion of their health insurance paid for as part of their benefits. This wouldn't have been impacted by Obamacare but GOP in congress insisted on an amendment forcing congress on to the exchanges.
Congress should be 100% on Obamacare or Trumpcare. If their salaries are too high they should foot their bill just like everyone they are making healthcare decisions for.

Just like trump, his fans are always looking for someone to blame. The fact that congressional staff gets a portion of their health insurance paid for has nothing to do with Obamacare. All other federal employees get part of their insurance paid for.
Is Obamacare working? If not, who's to blame? Average Joe didn't pass this law. Congressmen did.

Obamacare works but needs adjustments. Repealing isn't an answer. And the "replacement" sucked so hard republicans wouldn't even vote for it.
Worked for who? I speak to small business owners every day. It didn't work . Premiums are way up. Deductibles are way up. Many doctors don't accept Obamacare plans.

Disaster.

It has worked so well that Dems have lost the house, the Senate, and now the presidency on this one issue. Congratulations.
