I'm trying to understand your thoughts.
So, let's assume he can say "Hit that button" if NK launches a missile and move on to the other situations.
Are you of the opinion that he'd consult with advisors, take their input and then do the opposite? Is that your position?
Why would we assume that? It's an incredibly complicated and dangerous situation.
WOW. So a missile is heading for San Fran, we have the capability to shoot it down and you believe it's "incredibly complicated"?
Have a good evening. There's nothing else I can say.
And if we don't have the ability to shoot it down or instead of San Fran it's heading to Seoul?
It IS complicated. The new leader of South Korea wants to make nice with their neighbors, is hesitant to allow us to install THAAD missile defense systems. There is no guarantee a North Korean missile won't take a wrong turn and hit an unintended location.
The North Korean and Iranian regimes are not rational people. Sanctions and diplomacy might not deter them. They both seem hellbent on inflicting as much harm to the West as possible. This aint gonna be an easy fix. The can got kicked down the road for too long. Both are close to achieving their goals...
