Repeal and replace can't get dont before 2019. They lost the reconciliation process for 2017 and they are using the 2018 reconciliation to try to do tax reform.

If BL makes $250000 a year then it's a coin flip for 401K. Yes he drops his taxable income 7% but there are ways of investing that are accessible to him at that income that are far more effective than 401K.

You told me wealthy people don't invest in 401ks... Now it's a coin flip? What if BL has the option to invest in a Roth 401k with tax free distributions during retirement? Still a waste?
Yup. In and around $250K 401K doesn't make sense. Since you're wealthy you know this.
