Your might not know your casual friends' personal beliefs on things like Jews and gays, but if they invited you to a nazi march, you'd pass. Unless you are also a nazi.

I think protesting/counter-protesting is stupid. But everyone who does it isn't doing it for the same reasons.

Two completely different situations.

People participating in the rioting in Ferguson were bad because they were rioting. People there but not participating in the rioting weren't necessarily bad people.

People participating in the nazi march were bad because they made the choice to participate in a nazi march. Even if violence hadn't broken out, they would still be bad people.

Notice how I posted a chant many many times here that was being chanted the very next day in Durham NC while a public statue was turn down.... "No Cops, No KKK, No Fascist USA"

Not one person, not even one person here has run to the defense of cops to condone this hate speech. Where's the moral outrage? Where's the media?

This is Trump's point. There's hate speech EVERYWHERE of all kinds and we shouldn't be deciding which hate speech is worse than the other... It's all bad! All of it is the problem.

Nope, there is hate everywhere and it is sad (to use Donald's word).Equating cops and the KKK is dumb. Yes, there are racist cops and cops who are members of the KKK, but you could say that about just about any profession. I don't condone any hate speech, no matter who is making it. I'm always telling my kids when they say they hate something or someone that hate is a strong word and they should think before they use it in any situation.

What if I've told you Trump has been denouncing the KKK, David Duke, white supremacists now for 17 years and there's video montages of the 100s, maybe 1000s of times he's denounced them? I can find one and link it if you'd like.
