Trump: Worst President Ever? Topic

Now you've inserted the word "single-handedly" into MY mouth. I never made such a statement.

However, to try and answer, as the actual head of state, he DOES have the power to either initiate a series of disastrous moves (on any number of potential fronts, from economic to security) or (perhaps more likely) to NOT take action when required due to a number of reasons I see possibly lacking within his character,......... from certainty to temperance, solidity of focus, thoughtful judgment........... need I continue?

It's a fairly big job, don't you think? **** happens. I don't like the hands (or more precisely the Mind!) we're dependent on.
And don't tell me Congress will save us........ that's a YUGE freaking Joke! They can't agree what kind of icon to apply to the door of the men's room.
I suspect you know that.
Yes, you do need to continue.

What do you think he will ACTUALLY do that MAJOR IRREVERSIBLE DAMAGE?

Pulling out of the Paris Accord!!!!

The Dakota Pipeline XL!!!!
How is that irreversible and even negative?

I don't follow Twitter. What he says on a daily basis doesn't faze me. Obama talked out of his *** all the time too. Had an answer for everything. Claimed to be better at everything than the people he appointed. Big deal. Focus more on what he tries to do. Is dealing with a rudderless Congress. We will survive. If we get 3-4 percent growth then much of this won't be as big a deal.

What MAJOR IRREVERSIBLE DAMAGE do you think Trump can do?

We've got this thing called "Checks and balances" in addition to THREE branches of government. Now I know the CRAZY left is yammering on about nuclear war but that's not real. That's just CRAZY left talk. So what horrible thing can Trump do?
You sound like someone who got the 6th grade explanation of how government works and nothing else. The executive branch has tons of autonomous power. Judicial appointments, agency directives, executive orders, prioritizing resources, etc. The only thing we've got working for us now is the fact that Trump is totally incompetent and doesn't actually care about governing. If he had a real agenda, or allowed someone with a real agenda to influence him, they could do a lot of damage.

They could completely **** up the environment, kill net neutrality, wreck foreign relations. There are no checks on those things.
Enlighten me. Which one of these horrible things so you think he will ACTUALLY DO?
Any of the examples in the last paragraph are realistic.
So Bush had these same powers? Obama? I know you love you some Obama but what did Bush do, BY HIMSELF, that ****** up America?
So your thread has gone from Trump is the worst president ever to really...how bad could he be? Certainly no worse than Bush.
So you've resorted to asking question to answer questions? That's how I know you're backed into a corner and desperately want to change the direction of the thread.

Enlighten me. Which one of these horrible things so you think he will ACTUALLY DO?
So Bush had these same powers? Obama? I know you love you some Obama but what did Bush do, BY HIMSELF, that ****** up America?
Like I already said, any of the three examples I gave are reasonably likely.

What difference does it make what Bush or Obama did?

Pulling out of the Paris Accord!!!!

The Dakota Pipeline XL!!!!
What does this even mean???

The Paris accord is complete global political semantics meant to address an impending issue....... Most think.
Pulling out of that was about as meaningful as that strategy for birth control. Ask any catholic.

As for the Dakota pipeline XL???

It doesn't even exist. It has NOT been permitted yet by the State of Nebraska and the corp. has said that a final determination on whether they will even choose to progress with it won't be made until November!!!

As usual with yer boy Chump............ it's all hot air......... you know bullshit! It's all he's ever been......... a bullshitter.
You weren't raised near a ranch apparently. We know the difference between a jacked-up young steer and a real bull.
Chump is the other end of the animal!

No, they are not "reasonably likely". At least not in the mind of a somewhat sane person.

Bush was horrible according to most lefties. Did he **** up the environment? Kill net neutrality? Wreck foreign relations? Obama was horrible to most on the right? Did he do any of these things?

Trump appointed a head of the FCC who is openly hostile towards net neutrality. He repealed environmental regulations and pulled out of the Paris agreement. He hasn't staffed the state department to adequately levels and has relied on diplomacy-by-twitter.

Those things are already happening.

Maybe pushing policies that weakened unions and reduced employee protections was a bad idea?
