White House aides used personal devices and private emails for official work business, The New York Times reported late Monday, citing current and former officials.
The report comes a day after Politico reported that Jared Kushner, President Donald Trump’s son-in-law and a White House senior adviser, used his personal email account to conduct official government business.
The other aides include former chief White House strategist Stephen Bannon, former chief of staff Reince Priebus, advisers Gary Cohn and Stephen Miller and the president’s eldest daughter and White House adviser Ivanka Trump.
Trump during the campaign continuously criticized Hillary Clinton for her use of a private email server during her tenure as secretary of state, and the president pushed the Justice Department to re-open its investigation into the Democratic nominee even after the FBI recommended no charges against her.
One day libs will figure out what a server is, and how that's different from using personal email. Might be asking a lot of them though.
Hmmm, let's go through it.
What was was the problem with Clinton using a private instead of government server?
Do those problems exist for a member of the trump admin using a private email that also runs through a non-government server?
