I just lost a Very High to a High. 70/30. Are you kidding? Broken!

Losing dice rolls completely ruin your recruit class.

I feel REALLY bad for you, through your skill and the fact that you're an elite coach, you were well on your way to rebuilding Iowa very quickly but unfortunately luck>skill.

Maybe if this is fixed the game will be better. What's especially hard is the only way to get good players is to risk getting screwed by dice rolls.

This is my first d1 team. Does this stuff happen a lot? I recruited that guy from day 1 and then lost on a game of chance thats annoying.

Weren't they killing HD in 1.0 because schools like Rice or Western Illinois had an advantage over Virginia Tech or something?

You're kidding? I was favored 70-30?!?! thats dumb. I can't believe this. i just read some other posts about it to. Sounds like it happens way too much.

A team with a 30% chance to win a recruit wins the recruit 30% of the time. Or roughly 3 out of every 10 times. Hope that helps.

In the early days of HD, teams like Va Tech couldn't win against the likes of Buffalo and the rest of the MAC. It was pretty unfair.

Just for history's sake and morbid curiosity, why was that? I wasn't around for the 1.0 iteration of the game.

You're going to see results like this way more frequently at D1 because you're going to battle humans for virtually every recruit you sign, especially when you get to at least a B- prestige. Like others have said, it should balance out in the long run but the flip side to this is you also need to get into a battle or two every now and then against a higher prestige team where you know you're going to be a 70% underdog to try and land a top tier kid.

Nah its not satire. No sarcasm there. Having gone through a 3.0 DI rebuild myself, I feel bad for him.
